00:00There has been so much secrecy surrounding your character.
00:02How hard has it been to keep this secret?
00:04It's definitely gotten easier.
00:06We've been doing a lot of press,
00:07so I feel like I've really drilled it down.
00:09But at first, every time I do an interview,
00:11I was like sweaty palms.
00:12I'm scared to say the wrong thing.
00:14But, you know, I've gotten used to it now.
00:17There is a musical element to this show.
00:19What was it like prepping for the musical numbers?
00:21And did Patti LuPone give any sort of, you know,
00:24musical theater advice to the cast?
00:26You know, working with Patti on the musical numbers
00:28is very much a bucket list thing, you know.
00:30You can't really pick anyone better
00:31to do anything musical with.
00:34She's just the most iconic icon ever.
00:36So we had the best time doing it.
00:38It was really fun.
00:40The trailer makes this show look very spooky
00:42compared to most Marvel shows.
00:44Would you say it's Marvel's spookiest or scariest show yet?
00:48I would say it's up there.
00:50Yeah, it's definitely, definitely got
00:51a lot of spooky elements.
00:52There's definitely, even watching it,
00:54I think filming it, because you don't really see
00:56the darkness in the edit.
00:58And then watching it, I was like,
00:59oh god, this is quite scary sometimes.
01:01Which is fun, it's great.
01:03Perfect for, you know, spooky season.
01:05For you, what has it been like
01:06stepping into the Marvel universe?
01:08It's been amazing.
01:09Like, I constantly have had to pinch myself.
01:12I really, I'm living my childhood dreams.
01:15I'm really very grateful for everything that's happened.
01:18I heard there were so many practical effects
01:20used in this show, and practical sets built.
01:23How did that help you as an actor
01:25bring this character to life?
01:26I mean, it was amazing, you know.
01:28There's nothing better than being an actor
01:30than having the thing you're supposed
01:32to be acting with there.
01:33We were filming in this forest they'd built inside,
01:35and every bit you see of the Witch's Road is real.
01:37There's no VFX there.
01:39Which, you know, it feels like you're in like,
01:41a playing, like you're in an adventure,
01:43you're like, I don't know, it made it so much fun.
01:47There were so many titles for this show
01:49as we were learning about it.
01:50Why do you think Agatha All Along
01:52is the perfect title for this show?
01:54Because it was Agatha All Along.
01:55It makes it all make sense, you know.
01:57It was Agatha All Along.
01:59We've been seeing so much of you lately.
02:01Coming up, you have Heartstopper season three.
02:03What are you excited for fans of the show
02:04to see in that new season?
02:06I'm excited for them to see the characters
02:07like, really growing up this year.
02:09I think, you know, teenagers are often misunderstood
02:13and talked down to, and I really hope
02:15that our show helps negate that,
02:18and really, you know, see the maturity in being a teenager.
02:22There's been such a strong fan response to the show.
02:24What has that fan response been like for you?
02:26It's been really great.
02:26You know, it's really amazing to be a part
02:28of something that people actually care about,
02:30and you know, people really affect you on a deeper level.
02:33You know, it's really nice to have your work matter.
