The highlights of this year's Monterey Car Week (9 to 18 August 2024) in California.

00:00We are at Monterey Car Week and we just launched our anniversary model for 50 years, the 911 Turbo.

00:09And that's the name of the car, Porsche 911 Turbo 50 years.

00:13With a lot of heritage design details and of course we have the heritage car, the 930 Turbo from 1975,

00:20to show what is the Turbo idea behind both cars.

00:23At the Quayle there will be the public premiere of the heritage version of that car with the heritage design package.

00:33And there will be another world premiere of a very special one-off Sonderwunsch car,

00:39a 993 Speedster in yellow from an Italian customer, a designer, Mr. Tracci.

00:45And this car is absolutely spectacular.

00:48Customers can approach us and can ask us to build the car of their dreams, a so-called Sonderwunsch car.

00:57For me it's very important that we not only show the cars as a static display,

01:01so we need to drive the cars and bring them back to the purpose they were made for.

01:04We had a press live event and we brought the 930 Turbo as the oldest model to the latest generation.

01:11When I come to Monterey and I enter the city, for me it's like coming home and Monterey is really,

01:16for a car guy, it's the place to be.
