1960 remembering howdy doody running for President 1948 and 1952. I vividly remember how Howdy Doody LOST to his opponent in 1948, but still became President (because of an arcane Constitutional Amendment, that was written to appease the BIGOTED Southern states, during the writing of the Constitution).
Howdy was a HORRIBLE President during the period of Jan, !949 -Jan, 1953. He was ALWAYS WHINING that NOTHING bad that happened was ever his fault, and that his opponent was lying about the things that Howdy was actually guilty of - TRANSFERENCE, in psychological terms.
November 1952, Howdy lost by over 8 million votes, and also lost the Electoral College, but his HENCHMEN (Clarabell the clown - the former mayor of NYC and Princess Summerfall Winterspring) were able to rally CORRUPT members of Congress and the military to stage a COUP.
And, the rest of the story is HISTORY!!!!!
