02:14Author's note.
02:16The dragon and the phoenix are centuries-old symbols found in Chinese mythology.
02:21The dragon is usually known for its strength and bravery.
02:26The phoenix is usually known for its grace and generosity.
02:30Separately, they bring good luck and hope to people.
02:35Together, phoenix and dragon represent the power of long-lasting relationships.
02:41Their opposing strengths and weakness complement each other.
02:45Thus they can help each other grow and overcome obstacles as a team.
02:50Traditionally, phoenix and dragon represent a married couple where phoenix is the wife
02:55and dragon is the husband.
02:58I chose to write this story without pronouns in the hopes that more people can see themselves
03:03in this dynamic relationship.
03:06Whether it's a friend, a family member or a loved one may you find the dragon to your
03:11phoenix and the phoenix to your dragon.
03:14The end.
