00:00Abu Usman Nahdi narrated a hadith from Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakr
00:08that the Ashab-e-Suffah were poor and needy people.
00:12And the Prophet said,
00:15whoever has two men's food in his house,
00:18he should take one of the third Ashab-e-Suffah with him.
00:23And whoever has four men's food,
00:26he should take one of the fifth or sixth Ashab-e-Suffah with him.
00:31So, Abu Bakr brought three men with him
00:34and the Prophet took ten men with him.
00:40Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakr narrated that
00:44there were father, mother and me in the family.
00:49Abu Usman narrated that
00:51I do not remember if Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakr said or not
00:56that my wife and a servant,
00:59who was for me and Abu Bakr, were also there.
01:03Anyway, Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him,
01:06stayed with the Prophet
01:09and probably ate there.
01:11The situation was that he stayed there until Isha prayer.
01:15Then the Prophet came from the mosque
01:18and stayed there.
01:21So that the Prophet also ate.
01:26And after spending a part of the night,
01:29when Allah wanted, he came home.
01:32His wife Umme Ruman said,
01:35what happened that you did not even inform the guests?
01:39Or did you say that you did not inform the guests?
01:42The Prophet asked,
01:44did you not feed them dinner yet?
01:47Umme Ruman said, what should I do?
01:50They refused to eat until you came.
01:53They were told to eat,
01:55but they did not listen.
01:57Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakr narrated that
02:01I got scared and hid.
02:03Abu Bakr called out,
02:06O Ghunthar, O brother,
02:09you said bad things and cursed me.
02:12He said, eat, may Allah bless you.
02:14By Allah, I will never eat this food.
02:17Finally, the guests were fed.
02:20Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakr said,
02:23Allah is witness that we used to eat there
02:26and there used to be more food than before.
02:30He narrated that everyone was hungry
02:33and there was more food than before.
02:36Abu Bakr bin Abi Bakr saw that
02:39there was more food than before.
02:42He said to his wife,
02:44Banu Faraz's sister, what is this?
02:47She said, I swear by the coolness of my eyes,
02:50this is three times more than before.
02:52Then Abu Bakr ate that food
02:54and said, I swear,
02:56it was a satanic whisper.
02:58Then he ate a bite of it
03:00and took the rest of the food
03:03to the Prophet.
03:05And he came to you.
03:07He kept it with you until morning.
03:10Abdur Rahman said that
03:12we Muslims had an agreement
03:14with the people of another tribe
03:16and the agreement had been fulfilled.
03:18The delegation of that tribe
03:20had come to Medina to negotiate
03:22with the agreement.
03:24We separated twelve people from them
03:26and Allah knows how many people
03:28were with each one.
03:30All of them ate from it.
03:32Abdur Rahman said something like this.

03:44Abdullah bin Umar
03:46used to say that when Muslims
03:48migrated to Medina,
03:50they used to come to pray
03:52at a fixed time.
03:54They did not call to prayer.
03:56One day there was a discussion
03:58about this.
04:00Someone said,
04:02take an hour like the Christians
04:04and someone said,
04:06make a pig and feed it.
04:10But Hazrat Umar said,
04:13why not send someone
04:15to call to prayer.
04:18Upon this,
04:20the Holy Prophet
04:22chose this opinion
04:24and told Bilal to get up
04:26and call to prayer.

04:32It is narrated from Abu Huraira
04:35that the Holy Prophet
04:37said that
04:39when the call to prayer
04:41is given,
04:43the devil runs
04:45very fast
04:47so that he cannot hear
04:49the call to prayer.
04:51And when the call to prayer
04:53is over, he comes back.
04:55But as soon as the call to prayer
04:57starts, he runs again.
04:59As soon as the call to prayer
05:01is over, the devil comes back
05:03and starts whispering
05:05in the heart of the worshipper.
05:07He says, remember this
05:09and remember that.
05:11The devil reminds him
05:13of those things
05:15that he did not even think of.
05:17And in this way,
05:19this person does not even remember
05:21how many rakats he has recited.
