this is a newly formed blast lesion about 4 days old caused by the fungus Pirycularia oryzae. This is the best time to treat the blast. If we do not treat it in time, the lesion will gradually grow larger, become diamond-shaped, and spread fungal spores to the surrounding leaves, increasing the infected area in the rice field. If the disease is severe, the rice leaves will wither. If you see the disease in the field and the weather is favorable for the disease to develop, stop fertilizing with nitrogen, do not let the field dry out, and spray fungicide to prevent the disease promptly. You can spray a second time 7 to 10 days after the first spray.
