00:00I'm kind of mortified to admit that I have this as an entire room.
00:04Like, I'm going to be honest, it's a little bit, it's like, really Emma?
00:08Yes.
00:08This is my closet.
00:10This is my closet.
00:12And I feel like I'm the luckiest girl in the world when I'm in here.
00:15I never had this growing up, so it was just a storm in my closet.
00:21Welcome to our closet.
00:23The big side is my side.
00:25That little alcove over there is his.
00:30Now, this is my walk-in men's closet.
00:39We took two bedrooms and turned it into my closet.
00:43And I've got everything in here.
00:44It's kind of like a historical artifact.
00:47Every shopping trip I've ever gone on, even Little John's,
00:52are documented right here in this very room.
00:55It's very emotional for me to be in here.
00:58Oh, I remember I wore that on the episode where,
01:01or, oh right, I bought that at this little boutique in France.
01:06It is one of my favorite places because I love color and I love clothes.
01:12So having this two bedrooms turned into one closet is just perfection.
01:18So much storage space, so many textures and colors.
01:21It just makes me happy.
01:23And listen, if you're going to be on this planet, why not be happy?
01:28Why not live in a place that makes you happy?
01:30And that's what this place does.
01:31Now, this piece in particular is special because it's a sewing box
01:36and it was owned by the one and only Anne Margaret, which is pretty special.
01:42Now, this centerpiece, this island, is covered in Black Agatha,
01:48which is a Brazilian stone, and it's huge.
01:51One piece of Black Agatha.
01:54She sounds familiar.
01:58I think I know her.
02:03So we're in my dressing room.
02:06I live alone, so I had some extra bedrooms to play with.
02:10And one thing that was kind of a dream of mine was to have sort of a dressing room
02:16where I can get my hair and makeup done.
02:18I can, you know, accessorize my outfits.
02:21I'm kind of mortified to admit that I have this as an entire room.
02:25Like, I'm going to be honest.
02:26It's a little bit...
02:27It's like, really, Emma?
02:29Yes.
02:30But see, like, if I live in this house when I'm older and I have a child,
02:33we're getting rid of this and we're putting a kid in here.
02:35You know what I'm saying?
02:36So it's like I'm thinking about the future, but for right now, it's time to be selfish.
02:39I love sweater vests.
02:40I mean, I especially take inspiration from people in their 60s.
02:46Like, they're a really good source of inspiration.
02:49Like a cool grandpa wearing a vest with, like, a cool shirt under it.
02:53Chic.
02:54This is an Ultra Fergola mirror.
02:56It was just on the bucket list.
02:58And I love it.
03:00I mean, it's super fun.
03:01I like...
03:02Again, this is like another example of taking something that normally I'd buy
03:06a boring version of, like a mirror, right?
03:09And trying to make it add to the space.
03:14So here's the vanity.
03:16I keep my makeup in here.
03:18I actually don't do my makeup here very often.
03:20I more do my nails.
03:22I love painting my own nails.
03:25Oh, I have to show you my gel kit.
03:27Wait, look at my nail drawer.
03:30Like, this is how much I love doing my own nails
03:33to a point where, like, I have this thing.
03:36You know, when you're like at the salon.
03:42All right, guys, we're in my closet.
03:44Now, a lot of you might not know this,
03:46but depending on what I'm wearing,
03:48they actually change the color of the carpet and all of the cabinets every day.
03:53So I happen to be wearing pink today.
03:55So we went with the pink room.
03:57I honestly spend so much time in here.
03:59People come in here and we just, we kind of just like,
04:01we'll drink and hang out because it's the softest carpet.
04:04Put your feet up.
04:05You feel it?
04:06Yeah, it's a soft carpet.
04:08My stylist happens to be my friend since I was 13 years old.
04:12So her name is Chloe.
04:12She actually made this entire thing I'm wearing right now.
04:16And out of, like, old bed sheets from France.
04:21Look, I'm not afraid to wear a heel.
04:23This is a beautiful heel.
04:24Like, I want to be dainty sometimes.
04:27And I could use the extra inches.
04:28I'm very small.
04:30I like these.
04:31Look at these.
04:32Oh, are you kidding me?
04:35Nice little, I almost don't want to touch them.
04:38You could lick the bottom.
04:39You see, what I love about the dressing room
04:42is that you have so much space
04:45and we have so many items of clothing and shoes.
04:49I never had this growing up.
04:51So it was just a storm in my closet.
04:56It was just everything, everywhere.
04:59And, you know, I organized it as best I could.
05:02But, you know, this is an incredible space.
05:04I mean, it's a beautiful space.
05:06I organized it as best I could.
05:07But, you know, this is an incredible experience to have this.
05:10You know, this is truly a gift.
05:13So when we first moved in,
05:15John said he wanted a piano in every single room
05:19and we did our very best.
05:20So we've got this tiny little instrument.
05:23What's it called again, John?
05:24It's a chalice.
05:25And our theme for the year was family and freedom.
05:28So that's what's on there.
05:36So welcome to our closet.
06:01Teddy and I share a closet,
06:02except the big side is my side.
06:05And that little alcove over there is his.
06:09So I have a lot of amazing pieces
06:11that I've collected over the years.
06:13Some of them have been gifts from designers
06:16and some of them I bought vintage
06:18because I love vintage.
06:20So this was from, gosh,
06:23I think this is only like two or three Mets ago.
06:26And I went with Saint Laurent.
06:28And this is a Saint Laurent piece by Anthony Vaccarello.
06:31So I wore this crazy sexy bodysuit.
06:35And this big fluffy green neon feather coat.
06:40This incredible Prada piece,
06:43skirt and top is from the mid nineties.
06:45I wore this actually in a campaign shot by Glyn Lutchford.
06:49So beautiful.
06:49And it's totally an iconic campaign.
06:52I love men's suits and I love tuxedos.
06:56I just think they're super classic.
06:57And I have this incredible handmade bespoke
07:01Tom Ford tuxedo that he made for me
07:03for a gift for doing his very first fashion show in New York.
07:07And here's my name.
07:08This suit is super sexy.
07:10I love this tuxedo.
07:14This is where I get to make some people jealous.
07:15We got it all sectioned out.
07:17Leather jacket collection.
07:18You know, we got the blazers down here.
07:21Suits, jackets, dress shoes here, boots, creepers.
07:26But then the sneakers is where I really just get the stunt.
07:28Sneakers, sneakers, sneakers, sneakers.
07:30The air mags.
07:32Back to the future.
07:33This is my holy grail in terms of sneakers.
07:35It's the Nike SB Pigeons.
07:36Crazy controversy over when these were released.
07:39The irony is I'm actually totally afraid of pigeons.
07:42I have a weird phobia of birds.
07:43But for some reason this shoe,
07:45I just felt like it's the most beautifully designed.
07:47And then all the lore behind it and how rare it is.
07:49That's a pair that makes people upset.
07:51From the Bay Area.
07:52So when it comes to hats,
07:53you'll usually always see me in an A's hat or a Giants hat.
07:56When I redid the house,
07:58it kind of started with the idea of this room.
08:01This was originally a bedroom
08:02that we knocked down a wall connected to my bedroom.
08:06It's crazy to think that I turned a whole bedroom in my house
08:09into a closet and it's still overflowing.
08:11Like I almost need a whole nother bedroom
08:13just for shoes or something like that.
08:14Or I just need to stop buying stuff.
08:19Okay, here we are.
08:20This is my closet.
08:23This whole room is dedicated to my clothes.
08:26Growing up, I had to share a room with my little sister.
08:28I love you, McKinley.
08:30But it was very hard because she was always stealing my clothes.
08:32I was always stealing her clothes
08:34and I didn't really have a space that was my own.
08:36When I bought this house,
08:38I really wanted to create something that was mine
08:41and somewhere where I could just come
08:43and be my weird organized self.
08:46I color coordinate my clothes and put them in order.
08:49I like to see everything.
08:51I kind of wanted it to feel like a store.
08:53Like I could come in and kind of shop in my own closet.
08:56There's a lot more pink.
08:57It's a little bit more girly
08:58because the log cabin can feel quite masculine all the time.
09:02I really wanted to create just a couple of little spaces
09:04where I can go that were just a little bit more girly
09:06and fun and colorful and bright.
09:09I found this stained glass.
09:11I thought it would be a cool idea to hang them in the window
09:15so it kind of blocked people from looking in
09:18but also did something kind of beautiful
09:20and didn't block a lot of light from coming in
09:22because I still wanted it to feel really bright in here.
09:25I just quickly wanted to show you guys this fun little corner here.
09:28I have my denim bar set up.
09:31I love jeans so much.
09:33I collect vintage jeans
09:35and I just really wanted to dedicate a space
09:38where they could all just hang so beautifully so I can see.
09:41You know, I just, I like to look at it.
09:43It's very nice and it's all cohesive and I love, I love jeans.
09:51This is my closet and it feels like a tree house
09:54and I feel like I'm the luckiest girl in the world when I'm in here.
09:58This is the first time I've had a space like this.
10:00I heard someone the other day call it a dressing room
10:02and I was like, what?
10:04Do I have a dressing room?
10:05But it's just so fun to be able to have a place
10:08to hold all my things that I've been collecting for years
10:11and it's just fun to have a place
10:14that feels very chic and elevated to put them all.
10:17California Closets built this closet for me
10:19and the wallpaper is not my design
10:22but we do carry it at Jungalo.
10:24It is very jungalicious.
10:26I really wanted to bring that kind of like Beverly Hills hotel energy
10:31into this space.
10:32I wanted this to be my glam moment
10:34and my husband has his own closet in the bedroom.
10:37This one is all mine.
10:46I collect shoes because I wear shoes, to be honest with you.
10:49I don't collect them to just let them sit.
10:52I collect them to wear them.
10:54I'm an active collector.
10:56In wine, I collect to drink.
10:58In sneakers, I collect to wear.
10:59In clothes, I collect to wear.
11:01It's my first signature shoe of all time
11:04so this is what kicked it off.
11:08And I just want to be clear.
11:09I was the first Jordan brand signature athlete ever.
11:16The first.
11:17I was just excited to have my own signature shoe
11:19with a Jordan brand or the brand like that
11:22and then we actually made a great shoe.
11:24So I will always be grateful for this sneaker right here.
11:28So these Jordans right here,
11:30my son actually designed these or created these.
11:33So these are his, as you can see.
11:35Cayenne.
11:36And this is called the What The Cayenne
11:40instead of What The What The Cayenne.
11:43My first pair of Jordans I didn't get until my senior year in high school at Oak Hill
11:47and that was only because they was a Jordan-sponsored school team
11:53and that was my first pair of Jordans.
11:55So now going from that to being the first signature athlete at a Jordan brand
12:01after never being able to have a pair, it's full circle.
12:16you
