I recently got some VHS tapes from eBay so I'm going to show you what I got.

00:21Wednesday September 11th 2024 of course today marks the anniversary of the
00:299-11 attacks in New York and of course also in Washington Washington DC yeah my
00:48thoughts and prayers go to those that were affected by those attacks all those
00:58years ago back in 2001 so with that said I recently got some stuff from eBay and
01:14I'm waiting on some other stuff to come in from Mercari and Etsy so I'm going to
01:28show you what I got these are all from eBay I have
01:365 VHS tapes but technically six because two of these are two tape sets so so
01:56let's go ahead and get this started and I will put in the description when I got
02:03these tapes in the mail like I said these are all from eBay so I will start
02:16with the first of the two two tape sets that I got this is the Warner home video
02:26Big W release of Camelot which stars Richard Harris and Vanessa Redgrave also
02:37has Franco Nero Damon Hemmings and Lionel Jeffries this is from the musical
02:49genre
02:55yeah this is a rare find right here by the way I do have I do have the 1987
03:20release of Camelot which is as you can see right there so that one however is a
03:331989 reprint so just thought I'd show you that
03:50The Legend of King Arthur in a Legendary Musical
03:59and it says it's on two two cassettes
04:17and there's the cast list
04:20and it says it's approximately 173 minutes this is from 1981 movie came out
04:36in 1967 there's the first part and here's tape two
04:57and both tapes are printed on July 22nd 1982 they're both they're both on us
05:18both on scotch tapes and both have Warner home video 4 on the lids
05:28all right now to the other two tape set which is Ben Hur which stars Charlton
05:55Hested Jack Hawkins Haya Hara Reet and Steven Boyd also has Hugh Griffin Martha
06:08Scott Kathy O'Donnell and Sam Jaffe this was directed by William Reiler
06:25I I believe I still have the MGM Goldtop release of it of this movie but this is
06:38in the big box
06:41yeah there's this part was damaged damaged a little bit so I had to put
06:58some tape on it some scotch tape
07:05and here's what this part two looks like yeah that one it's also scuffed up
07:21Ben Hur is a blockbuster by far the most stirring and respectable of the Bible
07:38fiction pictures ever made
07:50there's the cast list
08:05movie came out in 1959 and packages from 1983
08:15here's the tape for part one recorded on a Maxel
08:26December 30th 1986 so this is a 1986 reprint
08:42and this has the MGM video catalog
08:56and here's the cassette for part two
09:20has the same thing
09:26there's the tray
09:40the tape needs to be rewound
09:45December 31st 1986 so this is printed on New Year's Eve and the reels need to be
10:00are yellowed that reels are yellowed that's what I meant like I said this
10:09needs to be rewound
10:14and here's another MGM big box this one is Tom Thumb which stars Russ Tamblyn
10:36Alan Young Terry Thomas Peter Sellers Jesse Matthews June Thorburn Bernard
10:48Mills and the puppet tunes with the voice of Stan Freeberg never seen this
11:00movie but I wanted to see or wanted to give it a watch and see if this is any
11:10good or not
11:15Tom Thumb is bold graceful and fascinating said by the New York Times
11:26this was a former rental from Blockbuster purchased on July 22nd 1998
11:35here's the cast movie came out in 1958 and this is a 1984 tape from MGM UA
12:06there's the tray
12:21this has a tin lid
12:27and the hologram is covered up by this family sticker
12:36this was also a former rental from Good Time Video
12:49print date is September 11th 1984 so this was before
13:02yeah there it is
13:08this was before the terrorist attacks
13:19there you go
13:22and here's the last tape that I got this one is a media home entertainment
13:34release called kill and kill again which this is a martial arts movie starring
13:47James Ryan also has Anna Lynn Creel Michael Mayer Marlo Scott Wilson Bill
13:59Flynn and Ken Gampu he's not one of the best he is the best the challenge
14:12continues never seen this movie
14:33this came out in 1983
14:42this also has a tin lid
14:57this has a night the label the sticker label says it's from 1985 despite the
15:14box saying that is a 1983 copy so this is a 1985 reprint former rental from
15:27video flicks even though it's been blackened out
15:35and it has this yellow sticker so I don't know if this is a print date
15:49yeah it doesn't look like there's a print date
15:53so
16:06I will definitely do the opening to this along with Tom Thumb I will
16:20definitely do the opening to this and Tom Thumb on my daily motion on my
