00:00Our goal is to provide the most advanced notice so you can make the best decisions for you and your family.
00:07We have crews scattered across the Gulf Coast as we continue to track Hurricane Francine.
00:13This includes AccuWeather reporters and storm chasers bringing you ground reports as this storm inches closer to land.
00:23And we want to take things over to storm chaser Aaron Rigsby who is alive on the ground there in Louisiana.
00:38Yeah, good afternoon guys. This has been the scene behind me throughout the town of Houma, Louisiana.
00:45You can see that these gas pumps have been wrapped and secured so they are able to open shortly after the storm
00:51and to prevent any kind of shortages that could potentially happen along with those power outages that's going to be occurring.
00:57Now, one thing I have noticed here, this area is no stranger to these hurricanes.
01:01They've had not four, but this will be the fifth one to pass near this area just in the last five years.
01:07There's been a very large police presence here kind of roaming the streets making sure that nobody's on the roadways that don't need to be so they can keep those clear.
01:14And get the cleanup process going as fast as possible as the storm eventually pushes away into the overnight hours.
