Saltash Community Shed open day 2024

The new Saltash Community Shed is now open for members to join.

00:00So there are so many facets why this is really good for the community.

00:03So first of all, it's great to get all the tools that have been donated here,

00:07because it means they're being repurposed.

00:09So it's really good for the environment just to make sure the tools don't get chucked away.

00:13And then the way that the team here are working with the Corps is also really inspirational,

00:18because it means that some of the skills that have been learned over the years

00:23can be passed on to the youngsters who are also here at the Corps,

00:27and that's another really good aspect.

00:29And just building on that community spirit is really important.
