  • last month
Children were sodomised and forced to inflict the same on others at 18 care homes in Selangor and Negri Sembilan, which were raided by police.

At a press conference on Wednesday (Sept 11), Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain revealed that these disturbing acts are just the "tip of the iceberg" of the abuse suffered by children at the homes linked to the Global Ikhwan Group (GISB).

00:00This morning, from 6am to 11am, the police and a few other teams
00:09raided 18 houses in Selangor and 2 in Negeri Sembilan, totaling 20 houses.
00:19From the raids, we have arrested 171 teachers and administrators
00:29of which 66 are males and 105 are females.
00:37We have rescued 402 victims,
00:42of which 201 are males and 201 are females.
00:49Meanwhile, the children that we have rescued,
00:53we will collect their health records,
00:57we will make a documentation,
00:59and we will carry it out at the Kuala Lumpur Police Training Centre
01:03to provide documentation and health records to them.
01:07Maybe we will take at least 14 days to collect the health records.
01:13How many? 400 people.
01:15This is also related to the time that we need.
01:20As I said earlier, these victims are between 1 to 17 years old,
01:25and the arrests are between 17 to 64 years old.
01:30In the modus operandi of GISB,
01:34these victims, from the statements that we received,
01:40these victims were taught, educated, and then released by the caretaker.
01:47And they were forced to release other children.
01:50This is from the statements and statements that we have recorded in the beginning.
01:55Secondly, the unhealthy victims were not allowed to receive treatment in the clinic,
02:00to the point of critical condition.
02:02Children's victims and religious sentiments
02:05were used to gain sympathy and also to get donations from outside.
02:10Using hot objects to injure small children.
02:15There were small children, 5 years old, there were 3-4 people.
02:18They were injured with their arms, with a hot spoon,
02:23as one of the mistakes made by these children.
02:27In addition to that, these officers also touched the body,
02:32as if they were practicing medical treatment for the health of the injured.
02:37This is one of the mistakes.
02:39What we see is that the act of indoctrinating these children
02:46with the use of tools and religion is a bad thing.
02:52What about the arrest of the 6 people?
02:56The arrest of the 6 people is based on the report in Negeri Sembilan.
03:01And then when we have taken the statement and collected the evidence,
03:07and we have also carried out a large-scale operation on 20 premises or homes
03:13that we suspect,
03:15there was also sexual harassment of the children,
03:20and also human trafficking.
03:26These children are not orphans,
03:30they are children of GISB experts,
03:35which means that as soon as they are born,
03:37from our research,
03:38as soon as they are born,
03:40as early as the age of 1 or 2 years,
03:43they will be put in an orphanage.
03:48With the knowledge of their parents, right?
03:50With the knowledge of their parents, that's right.
03:55So they will stay there until the age of how many years?
04:00We will get that from the statements later.
04:03For now, what we get is from 1 to 17 years old.
04:10So this is a form of torture from the authorities
04:15to the children, right?
04:17Is there any death or something like that?
04:20We also expect that to happen,
04:23but it needs our research.
04:26We just expect it,
04:28and we try to get a statement from the experts
04:32who have the children there.
