00:00technical in nature or long term portfolio or fundamental in nature, we've got you covered.
00:08Just send a message to us on that number that you see on the bottom of your screen and we
00:12will try and get it answered over the course of the next half an hour.
00:15Very quickly, let's take a look at where the markets are right now.
00:18And in fact, you have very narrow ranges for the benchmark Nifty 50.
00:22It is currently trading in a very tight band, currently higher by about a tenth of a percent
00:27or thereabouts and holding about 25,000 and it's currently very close to 25,100.
00:33The broader markets are also a little.
00:35You have a lot that is hanging in the balance.
00:38You have inflation data that will come out later in the week for the U.S. markets.
00:43And you also have next week the auto.
00:45Not too much to speak of in terms of the fundamental reason for this gain.
00:49But it is one of the outperformers in trade today.
00:52Now, apart from that, of course, there is crude oil to focus on.
00:55At this point of the day, there are concerns about Jaguar Land Rover.
00:59Puneet has this report to tell you about what exactly UBS is saying.
01:05But now that momentum seems to have slowed down and new launches will only be happening
01:10in the next year when JLR comes up with the electric vehicles going forward as well.
01:13Now, they're transitioning away from, you know, petrol and going forward as well because
01:17of, you know, the affordability factor as well as, you know, customer having a larger
01:20choice as well with competitors.
01:22And finally, you know, they have mentioned that they wouldn't be surprised to see, you
01:25know, some, it's not a good time for, you know, the company itself.
01:29Back to you.
01:30All right.
01:31Thanks so much for that, Puneet.
01:33Let's introduce our guest for the day.
01:34We've got Sunny Agarwal, who is head of fundamental research.
01:36Everyone, I'm thankful for having me on the show.
01:38I think all the factors which UBS has discussed were already known to the spirit of post-Quarter
01:451 results.
01:46I'm coming to you, Vaishali, on the charts.
02:11How does it look?
02:12Yeah, very good morning.
02:13I think Dexin technology has already got into the momentum and we have been seeing
02:18this.
02:19Just pull up the chart and see where it's currently trading.
02:21Mindtech is currently at 380.
02:24He's planning to invest in this for the next two years or thereabouts.
02:29Sunny not...
02:30I think looking at the kind of flattish growth during the last two years, I would recommend
02:36not to invest in Mindtech.
02:37There are many other better IT companies which are...
02:41of three of SpiceJet's engines.
02:43Remember, the single judge bench had in fact passed an order on the 14th of August directing
02:49SpiceJet to...
02:50...had not paid its dues to France-based lessors.
02:54The court had earlier also said that if you do not have the means to pay for the aircraft,
02:58then you should either not use them or...
03:00...by one of the creditors.
03:03Let's talk about the next question.
03:04Santosh from Bengaluru is holding Zen Technologies and 85 shares at a price of...
03:10Alright.
03:11The next is also a short-term question.
03:13I'm coming back to you Vaishali on Hindustan Zinc.
03:16This is a question coming in from Nidhi and Nidhi has already bought...
03:21According to me, it's very limited towards 450.
03:23So I would say continue adding more and because once the metal pack and Hindustan Zinc continues
03:30to get into new...
03:32Sunny, on the fundamentals, there's been a lot that is said about crude oil prices and
03:38the softness in the prices in the recent past.
03:41Retail prices of petrol and diesel are hold on to or in case they are cut, despite of
03:46that we may see an increase in marketing margin.
03:49However, we have seen operating at 332 or thereabouts.
03:53And it's also about the rest of the defense space.
03:56This is from Karna and he's asking about a one-year perspective on this counter.
04:01It's not done too much.
04:02Currently at a very good support level.
04:04And if whole of defense pack also starts moving, I think they should also gather momentum and
04:10this can go to three, I mean four...
04:12Exit from a perspective of one to two months.
04:15So let's keep today's low as stop-loss because if we see a close below 340, this can slide
04:21towards 320 to...
04:24And this is what happens when you hold for the long term in a stock that has outperformed.
04:29He's bought at an average price of 62 rupees, which means that he's been...
04:43Right now, there are no sellers in the stock.
04:47The stock is at upper circuit at 81.95.
04:52So it's a positive view from my side.
04:56Positive view.
04:57All right.
04:58It has been mentioned though that on the fundamentals and on the valuations, it's a little stretch
05:03to say the investment.
05:05Sunny, what's the view on this company from the fundamental perspective?
05:09And would you add more the current price?
05:11Yeah, I think the company...
05:14All right.
05:15We've got Druchika from Bengaluru who's asking about Yes Bank and quite a few people want
05:20to know about this particular counter.
05:22One to two-year outlook is being sought.
05:24Of course, you can't speak about, say, State Bank of India, but would you buy Yes Bank
05:28right now?
05:29Sorry, Alex.
05:30Even I can't speak about Yes Bank being an associate company of SBI.
05:36About 25, we can gather some conviction that, yes, it's ready to take off towards 28 and
05:4230.
05:43But at this juncture, if one needs to buy just to calculate it...
05:46Just look.
05:47The long-term chart, of course, looks very good.
05:50Even the breakout has occurred even on a monthly chart.
05:53But well, no harm booking partial profit and taking advantage that...
05:57About 5000 crore apiece.
05:58The stock is up about 2.7% in trade today.
06:01We've got Ravi from Chennai who wants to know whether he should buy a huge quantity.
06:07Yes, it's in India.
06:08So predominantly, I believe the majority of the contribution right now is coming from
06:13coal and ash handling segment.
06:15And that has contributed to...
06:17I would not...
06:18Though the stock can move, but technically, it doesn't call for an aggressive buy at these
06:22levels.
06:23I would not go for that.
06:24But continue holding with the trailing stop-loss.
06:26Okay.
06:27Both that price close to 100.
06:29Sunny, on the fundamentals, would you hold on to this?
06:33Yeah, I would like to hold on to the Morphine Lab.
06:36Only the one caveat, historically, write the story for next, that we're doing now.
06:41Carosil.
06:42C-A-R-Y-S-I-L is the name of the counter.
06:45Vaishali, I'm coming to you on this one.
06:47No doubt.
06:48I mean, being from a Tata stable, there is no doubt that you should hold on to the company
06:53if you've got a vision of 10 years.
06:55But short term, definitely, soda ash prices are under pressure.
06:58About 945 to 950 for an uptrend.
07:01All right.
07:02Thank you so much for participating in that last segment as well.
07:06Absolute pleasure having the both of you on the show.
07:41Let's pull up the Nifty 50 and see what the index is doing in trade today.
08:06It has started gaining momentum and it's trading within a range of roughly 100 odd points.
08:10Currently trading at 0.1130 or so, but right now it's down around 0.07%.
08:16Let's pull up Bank Nifty and see where is the Bank Nifty trading at, what are the levels
08:21like, where are some of the stocks that are weighing up on the Nifty.
08:25Of course, it's important to note here that all the Bajaj Group stocks have been buzzing
08:30on the back of the IPO, that is Bajaj Housing IPO, at 1 is to 1 mark.
08:35However, the gap between the advance and decline ratio has been narrowing throughout the day.
08:40Let's also pull up the sectoral chart and talk about.
08:43But before I come to you, Vineet, Mihika is joining in and crude prices have taken a hit
08:49and she'll give us a perspective as to what is happening there.
08:52Mihika.
08:54And when you talk about why prices fell, well, it was the OPEC who cut their demand
08:58estimate for 2024 in their latest monthly oil report.
09:01The estimate was cut to 2.6 for a while.
09:04Now, the latest economic data on Tuesday showed disappointing numbers in terms of Chinese imports.
09:10And lastly, all of this is happening in an oversupplied market.
09:14All right, Mihika, thank you so much for giving us those details.
09:17Vineet, I'll come to you on some of these counters, you know, that are buzzing on the
09:21back of crude impact.
09:23Coming up, you know, new fines, which are seeing the light of day.
09:27To that extent, it'll get cushioned out.
09:29IOL benefits from the fact that it is a large base of, you know, gas.
09:34Takes 30 to 35 percent of their overall, you know, raw material.
09:37And they also use crude derivatives.
09:39And some of the companies that are, you know, reacting positively to this news include Indigopay.
09:44And then there's lubricants where U.S. crude oil derivatives like base oil and additives
09:48are used for these lubricants.
09:51And a fall in crude prices could possibly, you know.
09:54And so I believe that all these companies could benefit that you mentioned.
09:59Not to forget Balkrishna Tyres, one of the very, very good.
10:05The problem is that, you know, there is too much cutthroat competition in the segment
10:09with new players like Grasim and JSW, you know, trying to garner.
10:16And the MOU is a strategic alliance to develop multiple products.
10:20Now, we have Anushi joining in with more details on that.
10:23Anushi.
10:24Hey, Mahima.
10:25So if you're seeing AstroMyO24, management expects the EBITDA margins to be in the range
10:32of 20 to 23 percent as against the Q1 performance, wherein the margins were at 100 crore for FY25.
10:38If you look at its Q1 FY25 numbers, healthy set of numbers, 16 percent revenue growth.
10:43And margins have moved upwards from 2 percent to 50.
11:13When the chips are down, you...
