00:001 Thessalonians 5 verse 17 One of the great things about smartphones is
00:10that we can text or talk to one another whenever we like.
00:14But being able to text or go online 24-7 isn't always a good thing.
00:19Many people use their phones when they should be concentrating on something else, like crossing
00:24the road or what their teacher is saying.
00:27Sometimes being distracted by our phones can make us miss out on something important.
00:32Even worse, we could be injured or killed.
00:36While it is a good idea to make sure we limit how much we are on our phones, there is another
00:40kind of communication that has no restrictions—prayer.
00:45God wants us to call on Him whether we are coming, going, or sitting still.
00:50In the New Testament, Paul encourages us to pray continually.
00:55Paul doesn't only tell us that we can talk to God anytime, he also tells us to rejoice
01:00always, and to give thanks in all circumstances.
01:04God wants us to experience joy and thanksgiving, both of which will come from lifestyles which
01:09are focused on prayer.
01:11God is always there for a quick cry or for a lengthy chat.
01:16He wants us to come and know Him every day, sharing our ups, downs, needs, questions,
01:21and problems.
01:23We are always in the prayer zone.
