00:00In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
00:04O Seen, and the Wise Qur'an
00:10You are from among the Messengers, on the Straight Path
00:16The revelation of the Almighty, the Most Merciful
00:19That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless
00:26Indeed, the Word has come into effect on most of them, so they do not believe
00:31Indeed, We have placed in their necks a cover, and it is to the cheeks, so they are covered
00:39And We have placed a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them, so they do not see
00:48And it is the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them, they will not believe
00:56You warn only those who follow the Reminder and fear the Most Merciful in the unseen
01:02So give them glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous reward
01:06Indeed, it is We Who give life to the dead, and record what they have put forth, and their signs
01:12And everything We have enumerated in a clear record
01:17And set forth for them an example of the people of the town, when the Messengers came to it
01:24When We sent to them two, but they denied them, so We strengthened with a third, and they said,
01:34Indeed, We are a Messenger to you
01:39They said, You are not but human beings like us, and the Most Merciful has not sent down anything, you are only lying
01:50They said, Our Lord knows that we are messengers to you
01:56And we are only responsible for the clear message
02:00They said, We have chosen you, and if you do not desist, We will surely strangle you, and a painful torment will touch you from Us
02:11They said, Your choice is with you, if you are reminded, but you are a transgressing people
02:19And a man came running from the farthest part of the city, he said, O my people, follow the Messengers
02:28Follow those who do not ask you for a reward, and they are guided
02:33And why should I not worship the One Who created me, and to Him you will be returned
02:39Shall I take besides Him other deities? If the Most Merciful intends to harm me, their intercession will not avail me in the least, nor will they save me
02:54Then I will be in manifest error
02:58I have believed in your Lord, so listen to me
03:03It was said, Enter Paradise
03:05He said, O my people, you would know what my Lord has decreed for me, and He has made me of the honored
03:15And We did not send down on his people after him any soldiers from the heaven, nor would We have sent them down
03:27It was not but a single cry, and at once they were silent
03:33What a pity for the servants! No Messenger comes to them except that they ridicule him
03:42Do they not see how many generations We have destroyed before them, that they will not return to them
03:49And all of them, when they are all with Us, will be brought to Us
03:54And a sign for them is the dead earth. We gave it life and brought forth grain from it, and from it they eat
04:04And We placed therein gardens of date-palms and grapevines, and We caused therein to burst forth springs
04:13That they may eat of its fruit, and of that which their hands have produced. Will they not then be grateful
04:19Exalted is He Who created the pairs, all of them, of that which the earth produces, and of themselves, and of that which they know not
04:31And a sign for them is the night. We cause the day to pass away from them, and at once they are wronged
04:37And the sun runs to its place of rest. That is the decree of the Exalted in Might, the All-Knowing
04:43And the moon, We have determined its places of rest, until it returns to you, the full moon
04:49The sun should not reach the moon, nor should the night overtake the day
04:57And all will swim in an orbit
05:02And a sign for them is that We carried their offspring in a full-loaded ship
05:08And We created for them of the like of it that which they ride
05:12And if We will, We can drown them, but there is no help for them, nor can they be saved
05:17Except as a mercy from Us and a provision for a time
05:21And when it is said to them, Fear that which is before you and that which is behind you, that you may receive mercy
05:28And no sign comes to them from the signs of their Lord, except that they turn away from them
05:35And when it is said to them, Spend from that which Allah has provided for you, those who disbelieve say to those who believe
05:45Shall we feed those whom Allah would have fed? You are not but in manifest error
05:53And they say, When is this promise, if you are truthful?
05:58They do not wait except for one blast, which will take them, and they will be divided
06:05And they will not be able to make a decision, nor will they return to their people
06:11And the trumpet will be blown, and at once they will descend from the graves to their Lord
06:17They will say, Woe to us! Who has raised us from our graves? This is what the Most Merciful promised, and the messengers spoke the truth
06:25It will be but one blast, and at once they will all be brought before Us
06:32So today no soul will be wronged at all, and you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do
06:39Indeed, the companions of Paradise today are in a fruitful work
06:44They and their wives are in shades, reclining on couches
06:49They will have therein fruit, and they will have what they ask for
06:54Peace is a word from the Merciful Lord
06:57And today, O you who are guilty
07:01Did I not promise you, O Children of Adam, that you would not worship Satan
07:07Indeed, he is a manifest enemy to you
07:10And that you worship me, this is a straight path
07:14And indeed, he has led many of you astray
07:18Did you not then understand?
07:20This is Hell, which you were promised
07:25Burn therein today, because you used to disbelieve
07:29Today We will seal their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will bear witness to what they used to earn
07:40And if We willed, We could have wiped over their eyes, but they rushed to the path, so how could they see
07:50And if We willed, We could have wiped over their place, but they could not pass by or return
07:58And whoever We give life to, We will turn him back in creation. Do they not understand?
08:03And We have not taught him poetry, nor is it necessary for him. It is only a reminder and a clear Qur'an
08:11That he who is alive may warn, and the word may burn on the disbelievers
08:17Do they not see that We have created for them from what Our hands have made cattle, and they own them
08:27And We have made it low for them, and from it they ride, and from it they eat
08:32And for them therein are benefits and drinks. Will they not be grateful?
08:37And they have taken gods other than Allah, that they may be helped
08:42They cannot help them, and they are hosts for them
08:48So do not be saddened by what they say. Indeed, We know what they conceal and what they declare
08:54Does man not see that We have created him from a sperm, and behold, he is a manifest adversary
09:01And he sets forth an example for Us, and he forgets his own creation
09:05He says, Who will give life to bones while they are scattered
09:08Say, He will give life to it who created it the first time, and He is Knowing of every creation
09:17Who made for you from the green tree a fire, and from it you ignite
09:27Is not He who created the heavens and the earth Able to create like them? Yes, and He is the Knowing Creator
09:39When He wills a thing, His command is only to say to it, Be, and it is
09:50So exalted is He in Whose Hand is the dominion of all things, and to Him you will be returned
