01:58It was during this time that Allah sent another prophet to earth,

02:06But it wasn't going to be an easy job for the Prophet

02:13shouted the Prophet to everyone,
02:15but the people didn't want to listen.

02:20and continued worshipping the idols.
02:23The Prophet was an excellent speaker,
02:26and he was very patient too.
02:29Don't you understand that it was Allah who created this whole world?

02:34It was Allah who created the sun, the moon,
02:38and the stars you see in the sky.
02:41He created the rivers, the mountains, the trees,
02:44and everything you see around.
02:47He did all this for you, and you alone.
02:51Then why are you not showing him any respect?

02:57But the people turned their backs on him, saying
03:00Ha! Who are you to advise us?
03:03You are just another man,
03:05and we think that you are lying!
03:08Go away, and leave us alone!
03:10But there were good Muslims on earth too.
03:13Most of them were weak and poor.
03:16They listened to the words of the Prophet,
03:19and realized that they were committing a sin by worshipping the idols.
03:24Now there were two different group of people on earth.
03:30One who worshipped Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,
03:33and the others who continued idol worship.
03:37Nuh continued preaching to the people for many years.
03:48The idol worshippers soon became tired of the Prophet.
03:53You've been preaching lies for long enough, they said.
03:57We are going to stone you, if you do not stop!
04:01But the Prophet ignored them,
04:03and continued calling the people tirelessly.
04:06He preached to them during the day and the night.
04:09On many occasions,
04:12he was stoned by the idol worshippers while preaching to the crowd.
04:16He was even beaten with the sticks.
04:21You are no different from us, shouted the idol worshippers.
04:25You are no prophet, you are just another man.
04:28And why should we listen to you?
04:31I am telling you the truth.
04:33The Prophet pleaded to them.
04:35You are committing a sin by worshipping the idols.
04:38But the people didn't listen, and they beat him again.
04:45I fear for you, Allah is going to punish you one day!
04:49The Prophet shouted to them.
04:51But the people had no shame, and they said
04:55He is a fool, don't listen to him!
04:58All this pain did not let the Prophet to stop calling out to the people.
05:03He continued preaching to them for nine hundred and fifty years.
05:07The disbelievers kept making fun of the Prophet,
05:11and by now, they had taken things too far.
05:16Nuh was disappointed by now,
05:19whereas the number of disbelievers kept growing and growing.
05:25One night, when the Prophet was offering his prayers,
05:28Allah spoke to him.
05:31Don't be sad Nuh, God said to the Prophet.
05:35You have done what you were asked to.
05:38I am going to punish all the people on earth for their wrongdoings.
05:42Yes, everyone on earth is going to die,
05:46except the Muslims and the animals, said Allah.
05:51As the first step, God then asked the Prophet to plant many trees.
05:57Nuh didn't understand the reason behind this,
06:00but he listened to Allah, and started planting trees as he was told.
06:05He also asked the good Muslims who listened to him to do the same.
06:10They did this for more than one hundred years.
06:14After many years, Allah spoke to the Prophet again.
06:18This time, he asked the Prophet to start building a ship.
06:23It has to be a huge ship,
06:26that can accommodate a pair of every animal on this earth.
06:31Said Allah, the Prophet was confused.
06:34He didn't know how to build a ship,
06:36and no one had ever made a ship before.
06:39In spite of this, the Prophet started making the ship with the help of the Maliks.
06:44First, they made plans for building the ship.
06:48No one knows the exact size of the ship.
06:51Some say it had a length of six hundred feet,
06:54and others say it had a length of two thousand four hundred feet.
06:58Whatever it was, the ship was sure going to be a gigantic one!
07:04We will help you to build the ship,
07:06said his children and the Muslims, and they joined the Prophet.
07:10First, the Prophet had to choose a place for building the ship.
07:14He chose the mountains far far away from the city.
07:18The Prophet collected the tools, and set out to build the ship.
07:22They started cutting down the trees for wood.
07:25Yes, it was the same trees he had planted more than a hundred years back.
07:31Then they started building the ship as per the plan.
07:35The men worked very hard, day and night to build the ship.
07:41When the disbelievers saw the Prophet building a ship on the top of a mountain,
07:47they started making fun of him.
07:49Ha ha.. You are such an old fool, they said.
07:53Why would you possibly need a ship so huge?
07:56The others said, and how are you going to take it to the sea?
07:59You would come to know very soon, replied the Prophet.
08:03The people didn't know why the Prophet was building the ship,
08:06and they thought the Prophet had lost his mind.
08:09The Prophet and his men kept working hard.
08:13After many months, the ship was finally ready.
08:17They then thanked Allah for helping them to finish the ship.
08:22The time for the flood was nearing day by day.
08:25One night, Allah told the Prophet that he will start flooding the earth,
08:30the day when the Prophet sees water coming out of the stove in his house.
08:36You see, this huge ship built by the Prophet had three different sections.
08:42What were the different sections for Baba?
08:45They were for three different types of water.
08:50They were for three different types of animals, Amir.
08:54The first one was for birds,
08:56the second part of the structure was for humans,
08:59and the third part was for the animals.

09:04That was brilliant!
09:06Ha ha.. Yes my son!
09:09And while the day of the flood got nearer,
09:13animals and the birds started arriving one by one.
09:17They were arriving in pairs, one male and a female.
09:21There were elephants, giraffes, lions, rabbits, barrats,
09:26and soon the ship was filled with all the variety of animals and birds from the earth.
09:34And one day, like God had told the Prophet,
09:37water suddenly started coming out of his stove in his kitchen.
09:42This was the sign Nuh was waiting for.
09:46He knew that the time of the flood had arrived.
09:49When he went out, he saw that it had started raining too.
09:53Without wasting any time,
09:55he ran out and called all the good Muslims who had helped him to build the ship.
09:59He asked all of them to board the ship immediately.
10:03The disbelievers didn't understand what was going on,
10:06so they kept laughing at the Prophet.
10:09Look at the old fool, they said.
10:11What is he going to do with all those animals and men?
10:16The Prophet ignored them, and asked his wives and sons to board the ship quickly.
10:21Everyone obeyed him.
10:23But when he was about to board the ship,
10:25he saw that all the animals and birds were gone.

10:35except for one of his wife and her son, who were not his followers.

11:11By now, people realized that what the Prophet told them was true,
11:17and they ran towards the mountains to save themselves.
11:21The Prophet saw that his wife and son were climbing a mountain
11:26to save themselves from the water.
11:28So he shouted to them,
11:30come and board the ship, save yourself!
11:33But they ignored him, and climbed to the top of the mountain.
11:39Then a huge wave,
11:41bigger than the mountain they stood on,
11:43came and hit them, killing both of them.
11:46These enormous waves killed all other disbelievers as well.
11:51The water kept rising and rising,
11:54and after some time,
11:56the earth was completely filled with water.
11:59Then Nuh said Bismillah
12:04When the Prophet uttered these words,
12:07the ship started moving.
12:10The rains had stopped by now,
12:13but the entire earth was filled with water.
12:17The Prophet knew that he had to keep sailing for a long long time.
12:24But didn't the animals hurt each other?
12:27Then how did they live together?
12:30The ship had eighty people in it,
12:33and the Prophet had taken precautions to store enough food for the men and the animals.
12:39Allah had it all planned my son.
12:42He made the ship suitable for the silent sheep,
12:45as well as the violent lion.
12:48All the violent animals were down with some or the other sickness.
12:53All of them were living together.
12:56But the Prophet faced a lot of trouble because of the rats.
13:00They were everywhere, running up and down,
13:03nibbling there, nibbling here.
13:05They were really the troublemakers.
13:08And then Prophet prayed to the God,
13:10and it was then Allah created the cats.
13:15The cats hunted down the rats,
13:17and after some time, the rats started behaving as well.
13:23Like that, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
13:25solves many problems that the Prophet had to face during the journey.
13:31They had sailed for about one hundred and fifty days by now,
13:37and they couldn't find land anywhere they could see.
13:46The Prophet and the men waited, and waited for many days.
13:51The Prophet then decided to send a crow to see if he could find land anywhere.
13:56But the crow didn't return at all.
13:59Then the Prophet sent a dove in search of land.
14:03The dove flew away,
14:05and after a few days,
14:07returned with a branch of olive tree in its beaks.
14:11The Prophet and his family were really happy,
14:15as they knew that they were close to the land.
14:19The ship sailed further for some time,
14:22and finally reached on the top of the Judi mountain.
14:26The Prophet said Bismillah,
14:28and the ship stopped moving.
14:31After travelling for more than one hundred and fifty days,
14:35their journey had finally come to an end.
14:38The Prophet released all the animals, birds and insects first into the land.
14:44They went out, and populated the earth back again.
14:50The Prophet and other Muslims came out of the ship,
14:54and the first thing he did was to put his forehead to the ground in prostration.
15:01And that was a new beginning for the human race!
