00:00After being accused by various people of being biased in the budget hearing of the Camera,

00:05Vice President Sara Duterte denied that she is a spoiled brat.

00:11The people of the country know that I am not a bratinella or a spoiled brat

00:17because they have known me since I was still in Davao,

00:21since I was still a mayor, until I became the Vice President.

00:26Duterte believes that it is not just the law makers who are used to not getting the answers they want.

00:32Duterte also believes that the Congress has the power to review the budget proposal of the Office of the Vice President or OVP.

00:40The Vice President said that their explanation is on the OVP's website and social media accounts

00:45as to where they are asking for the budget.

00:48They are just using the budget hearing of some members of the Congress to attack her.

00:53In the second part of her video, Vice Speaker Martin Romualdez and I,

00:58Bicol Partylist Representative Salvi Co, were accused as two people who have control over the budget of the Philippines.

01:04Under the General Appropriations Act 2023, the budget for classroom construction reached more than Php15 billion.

01:13Php10 billion was held by Co and Romualdez.

01:18In 2024, from the Php19 billion classroom construction budget,

01:23it became Php24 billion in the House version of the General Appropriations Bill.

01:29A list attached to the budget of the DepEd is where the Php17 billion classroom construction will be spent.

01:38To clarify, the additional budget did not come from the DepEd.

01:43Co and Romualdez have not yet admitted their allegations.

01:50That is one of the reasons why I resigned from the Department of Education.

01:57I will not allow them to do the same next year and I will be responsible for what they are doing.

02:06That is why I am saying, why should we question and answer so that you can attack me?

02:13I will just follow the budget of two people.
