00:00Hello, I'm Joseph Mirovic and I'm standing here in the centre of Wolverhampton to tell
00:08you what I like about the food and drink within not just this city, but the whole region.
00:13Wolverhampton is a place with plenty of places to go and eat. If you want your basic stuff
00:16you've got Greggs, you've got Subway, there's a McDonalds down there, but if you want something
00:20a bit more that goes that way, you've got Broad Street with plenty of places to eat
00:25down there, Caribbean Takeaways and curry restaurants and kebab places and pizza places
00:31you've got behind me. If you walk down that way you've got the Beelash which is a Michelin
00:34rated Indian restaurant, top quality food there. We are in the biggest Sikh population
00:40outside of London so anywhere you go you can find yourself a decent curry. There's a Thai
00:44restaurant down there, there's fish and chip restaurants, everything in this city you could
00:47possibly look for. Go further afield you've got St Dudley, you've got Teddy Grey's, you've
00:51got Walsall with the pork scratchings, there's breweries all over this area, the Banks's
00:56Brewery, the wonderful spot at Walsall by Wolverhampton, Holden's and Ye Olde Black Country,
01:02you've got pubs everywhere which offer fantastic beer, real ale, cider, indigenous beer to
01:08this area. Pork scratching, pork and stuffing, pork scratching, pork and stuffing and gravy
01:13sandwiches, you've got Mudder Rock's Pie Factory which is top notch for pies. Basically if
01:18you're hungry, if you're thirsty, the Black Country, Staffordshire, White Forest, there's
01:23plenty to find around here so go out and find some, I know I'm going to.
