Michael Dunlop's record-breaking success at the Isle of Man TT was marked during a special reception at Stormont hosted by Communities Minister Gordon Lyons. Dunlop has won 29 races at the event, overtaking his uncle Joey's tally of 26 at the 2024 TT.

00:25or it's not just me that rides them and takes all the glory, it's the boys behind the scenes,
00:28sponsors, fans, workers, family, friends and for this year to keep motorcycling at
00:35the highest point level, especially in Northern Ireland, I think they've done a great job
00:39over the last 10 years and to be recognised like this, I'd just like to thank everybody
00:44for coming today, they took time off work and the time they take, even racing with me,
00:51they come with me every weekend and they work as a team and it's all paltry men to a degree
00:58so I'd just like to thank everybody and say it's fantastic for the TT achievement and
01:03hopefully try and add to it and try and keep not only the sport at the highest part of
01:09the world but obviously my name, my name is not just for my benefit but obviously for
01:14my uncle, my dad, my brother, that I try and keep the Dunlop name at the highest esteem
01:20possible and I'd like to thank everybody for making that happen and thanks for everybody
