00:00So, good morning. I want to quickly show you how to utilize your LinkedIn account.
00:08You see, apart from building your profile to be well optimized and all of that, I also come
00:15to realize that if your profile is on the normal platter, like if your profile is quite normal,
00:23you won't be able to get the most of your LinkedIn abilities.
00:30I, in my recent observations, also realized that having a LinkedIn premium account is actually
00:37premium. There are many things that you do not pay attention to before that when you use LinkedIn
00:43premium, you tend to be able to get more realistic end results and all of that.
00:54Let me just put it straight to you. Normally, I've been applying for jobs on LinkedIn for quite a
00:59while. Like I've tried applying, applying, applying. And also, I've tried DMing a large
01:07number of people. I've tried DMing a large number of people for maybe, you know,
01:16scouting in quotes to get jobs and all of that. But I've never been able to, you know,
01:22get the most of it. Most of the times I get emails that tells me, unfortunately this,
01:27unfortunately that. Well, in short, I've come to realize that apart from just building your profile
01:32to be well standardized, LinkedIn premium is very important. And so I want to show you how to get
01:38LinkedIn premium for free. At least they offer a 30 days trial, but at least before 30 days,
01:45it will be up. You would have been able to utilize it completely. Now I'll show you how I did mine.
01:50And the first thing I did, I did first is to integrate my Google payment, you know,
01:56like let's say for instance, you go on Play Store.
02:00Let's say for instance, you go on Play Store and you look for a game that may probably,
02:05it requires that you pay. I don't know. Let me see if I can be able to,
02:12see if I can be able to see any of these games that require payment. Or let me just say anything
02:18short that you want to do on your phone that requires you paying. Sometimes they ask you to,
02:23to use Google Pay. So that Google Pay, you have to link your card to it. Now,
02:28we're not linking your card. It's very important. I don't, I think if you check here, yeah, this is a
02:33payment and subscription. You click on payment and subscription and you click on payment method.
02:38All right. You need to add one of your cards here. We have added your card and it's added,
02:46though these ones are expired. This one is the first one is the only active account that I have.
02:51So you come down right, you go to here, you click on settings and you go on settings.
02:56Why this is loading? LinkedIn is, is, is, is an awesome platform when it comes to B2B.
03:03We are really looking for clients on the, we are looking for clients, I mean real clients
03:08on, on the standard client basis. I'm not talking about Shopify stock right now,
03:13you can get Shopify stock clients here, but when I'm talking about quality clients, I mean,
03:17top-notch quality clients, LinkedIn is your best, is your best lookout. And if you're on LinkedIn,
03:23a lot of, a lot of, a lot of, um, um, accreditations are very important. People don't
03:31just hire you on, on, on LinkedIn. There's a lot of assessments that goes on in the mind of the
03:38person that wants to hire you and in the mind, and even those who come to see your profile.
03:44Sometimes a lot of people come to your profile and just view it. If you look at this one here,
03:49for instance, look at this one here, say Chukwemeka Okoro viewed my profile. Now this teaching, this,
03:57um, training is not, it's not about optimizing your account. If you want to optimize your,
04:02your LinkedIn, probably I'll just advise you to, I don't know, but my point is just that
04:08this training is not on LinkedIn optimization, but if you want to optimize your LinkedIn,
04:13I think I may be able to have a few number of references and a few number of, you know,
04:18information for you in that light. But, but like I said, this training is not majorly on,
04:24on, um, what was it called? It's not majorly on LinkedIn optimization. Sure. That's my point.
04:31So you click on your settings, right here, click on account preferences.
04:36When we click on account preferences, all right, you come here where it says, um,
04:41manage premium accounts. Now, yeah, that's because I've already done my own linking.
04:47Well, if you come around here, under where it says subscription and payment, you see something
04:52like, you see something like, um, you see something like LinkedIn premium. All right.
04:57When you do that, you just click on and go through. So the, they will ask you to confirm
05:02your card through your Google play store payment. And I'm doing that. It will be activated for you.
05:09Now, not just to show you how to do that. I also want to show you what it has done for me.
05:14So based on the package you choose, I think I chose the career parts. I don't know if I choose,
05:19I think I chose the career, the career package, but you can just check around and see the best
05:24package that you can be able to choose that will match up with, match up with what you're looking
05:29for. All right. It's very, it's very simple to, to, to do and to choose. So, but I think I chose
05:37the one for career or something like that. So I'm not sure, but now the next thing I want to do is
05:41to, next thing I want to show you is what it has been able to do for you. First of all, uh, what
05:46I tried doing, I tried doing this. I tried going, going on the search bar and look for the kind of
05:51client I'm looking for. So I'm looking for clients with eBooks. Let's say clients who has eBooks,
05:56or let me say, um, um, let me say online course. So I'm looking for clients who are, who have
06:04online course. So I will pick the following filters. I pick people who are under people.
06:09All right. I also pick, um, their locations, which is, um, United States, which is, um,
06:15Canada and UK. All right. Show results. And I also, I think that is okay for now. Um,
06:22under this actively IRN, um, I don't think you may want to do that. So I don't limit
06:27kind of stuff you have in your custody. So the next thing I want to do is, you know,
06:32since I'm targeting people who are into USA, UK and the likes, so I'm going to scroll down
06:36and look for people who matches up more with my kind of stuff. So these online calls, online
06:42calls, online calls. Um, I think these are, these are more like marketers. Let me just try and
06:49check, um, online calls. Um, let me just look for autos. Autos is quite more based approach where
06:59you can really see the main, main, main people you're looking for. If you type online course,
07:05from what we just saw, we saw that a number of them are not really very much engaging.
07:09Now look at this. This is Sharon Frisco. Frisco. Let's check on her. She's our first person. Yeah.
07:16Let's check our last post. If our last post is recent, then we might actually send some
07:20message to her, but that's not the sweet part. I want to show you what buying premium can do for
07:25you. Um, I know some of you who are, who are going to be LinkedIn users, you must have seen
07:31the adverts advising you to buy their LinkedIn premium, but some of you may not be able to.
07:35So that's also why I'm doing this video. So, but from what, from what I'm seeing here,
07:39this woman doesn't seem to have any, any recent post activity. She says she doesn't have any
07:45activity. I don't think we can go for her. Let's look for somebody who has recent activities.
07:50So let's say this is somebody else now. Okay. Yeah. She, she posted one week ago.
07:54So what you want to do now is to click on message. Now the sweet part is that you don't,
08:00you don't really have to type anything here. Yourself. AI can do that for you.
08:05AI can do that for you, but click on, write it. AI. Now you have to be careful. Some people
08:11use emails, emails. They give you about 10 credits for the email that some accounts require email.
08:17So my account doesn't require email. So I would advise you go for an account that doesn't really
08:22require emails, lest you waste your emails. All right. So you can write it AI. So I'll write,
08:27ask about Maria's time on autono. I'll click on the third one, which is what ask about job
08:33opportunities. And I click on that. The AI is going to write it for me. So the headline is
08:38excited to explore opportunities at anything vegan. I, I, Marja, I'm fascinated by your passion
08:44for happiness, final thoughts, achieve their dreams, my experience, this and that.
08:48Now this AI is going to be writing content that is related to your profile. So that means that
08:53the first instance you need to do is to build your profile to this. For instance, consecutively,
08:59let me say, let me say once in 30 months, I tried to edit my profile to match up with
09:04updated new methods and all of that. Now I've sent this to her. Now you may be wondering,
09:10okay, why am I teaching you this? I'm teaching you this because it works for me.
09:13I was able to, like for the first time on LinkedIn, I got reckless number of responses.
09:19Like did I send this stuff to this person the first time? Let me see. I sent this thing to,
09:25let me see. Um, I don't know. I sent it to a few number of them. The first time I sent it to a
09:33number of them, I got responses. Those who couldn't respond, uh, those who couldn't respond
09:39accepted my connection request. Look at this one here. He replied me almost immediately.
09:44It is 5.08 PM. He replied me 5.10. He replied me, even though the reply wasn't really very much,
09:49you know, welcoming. Look at this one too. I tested, uh, 5.43 PM. She replied 5.47 PM. Like
09:54my point is, it's really crazy. Like, like people can be able to respond to you at this. My point
10:00is just imagine, imagine if, imagine if you have, you're able to target the right, target the right,
10:06um, category of people and target the rights, you know, target the right number of people.
10:10I'm touching, I'm talking about their quality, their online presence and their needs, that kind
10:14of stuff. But don't forget, scouting is a game of numbers. You have to keep on trying. My point is,
10:18if you're using email, your email will finish and it will limit those. So I try and look for people
10:23when I was really using emails. And how do you do that? Sometimes you can't really know that
10:26except to check their profiles. So you have to check their profile. I want to, what we will
10:30check is, we want to check when you, when you realize that, when you realize that, um, people,
10:42location, let's choose, um, let's choose, let's choose, um,
10:45USA for now. So when you realize that a large number of them,
10:50now, if you have email credits, let me just show you for again, let's say I click on this,
10:55I click on connect first and I click on message. Now, this one like this requires,
11:00doesn't require email. You can see it down here. She sits here under this place, right below the
11:05right AI, this below this left hand corner below, you see, right? Premium, but free message. So I
11:11click on rights with AI after job opportunities. And let's say I click on email, I click on email,
11:17after job opportunities. And this thing also writes, it writes, um, content based on the
11:22person's profile too, so that it can match up with what the person might be needed. I click on send
11:27as well. I see. So that means I've done, you know, so this one is free, but some are not free. Some
11:32require email. So whether it is email or not, you see that the rights at the left hand corner below
11:38the same way you, sorry, the same place you saw the place where you wrote free as well. Let me
11:44see if I can just try this on too. Um, let me say, I think this one should be free.
11:51Dismiss. I think this should be free. Um, now in case you're wondering,
11:58Sam, what if my, what if my 30 days finishes? You see every content that the, look at this one here,
12:03by the left hand corner, you saw it's premium using one of one email credits. I don't want to
12:08waste my, no, no. Some of, some of the emails actually defines the qualitativeness of the,
12:16the qualitativeness of the, um, of, of the lead itself. But sometimes it's some quality leads
12:22are not really quality because of the online presence and how long it takes them to respond
12:26to you and all of that. So I don't think I want to, well, let me just see. I can take this risk.
12:31This person looks more like, um, it looks more like a qualitative person. I just make that risk
12:36and just use it and see. So also you can be, you can also edit whatever the AI writes here.
12:43Let's be gagging and write nonsense like you just wrote. So I can send. All right. So the thing gets
12:49sent. Now, in case your 30 days finishes and you don't have money to, you know, to refresh the
12:54whole vibe, all the, all the, all the, all the message samples, the AI wrote for you are also a
13:00method at which you can copy to reach out to people. Look at this. It says, hi Sarah, I noticed
13:05you are fresh with, I noticed you are with fresh fruit fiction and off the edge. I'm eager to
13:10explore opportunities there relevant to my experience. Whatever CCS media buying, I can
13:15support your newsletter and promotion effectively. Your company's mission aligns with my passion for
13:20engaging readers. Are you currently IRN? Thank you. Like the thing is balanced. It is awesome.
13:26It is super. Look at this. So he replied me six days after I said, hi Jeffrey, I noticed your
13:32role at chief executive and I'm eager to explore relevant opportunities with CCS plus in advertising.
13:40I can bring strategic marketing, but it's your theme. Like you can use this concept to reach
13:44out to. Now, the last thing I want to talk about is that you can also use AI. Okay. You can also
13:52use AI. You can also use AI into building your profile. If you click on this, for instance,
13:58when it's coming, if you click on this for instance, here's my profile. My profile is this.
14:03So you can see the options there where it talks, where it tells you to, I think it disappoints
14:08whereby you see the AI tell you to do some things. The AI tends to give you some suggestions on what
14:14to do and what not to do. Now your experience is very important too. You have to create your
14:18experiences to be, to be, to be way more awesome. All right. I want to try and just make a few
14:27edits while I'm at it, specialist. Okay. Now, um, your, your experience value needs to be
14:49important. It needs to be carefully created. Domain isn't 100% perfect. If you have a
14:54certification is very important. All these, your skills is very important. Then your recommendations
14:59and publications, if you have one, the courses you've taken, if you want to upload them,
15:04the interest or something like that. So your profile needs to be top-notch. So you can try
15:08and check other people that matches up with you. Try and look for people who are in your field
15:14and try to check their profile with yours and build yours alongside with them and all of that.
15:19Then when you are done, try to engage more of these job roles. Come here and search for the
15:23jobs you'd like to apply for. Mine is physical arts most, most importantly, because it's a data
15:28marketing specialist, cyber, Linux, whatever. Me, I don't like applying to Nigerians because
15:34I don't feel they run Etas Keta. So I'll just, I apply for USA jobs most like most importantly,
15:40look at this one. It says, um, most of the times I like applying for easy applies, but if you want
15:45to go for applications that has to do with external website applications, my point is just do you,
15:51if you put your best and all of that, it's going to work out. And
15:56so my point is engage LinkedIn premium, use it, let it work for you. It's 30 days free. So use that.
