00:00It is very important for me that an artwork is not viewed
00:29as an African art, but rather first and foremost viewed as an artwork.
00:36I used to draw in those days. I used to draw.
00:44It makes me happy that time as a child, you know, in my primary school,
00:49and they are all calling me young artist.
01:04So what was important for me was not to get the face of George Floyd.
01:09I just tried to recapture that moment that the knees, that somebody was kneeling on his head.
