00:17Long time ago, there lived a priest who was extremely lazy and poor at the same time.
00:27He didn't want to do any hard work but used to dream of being rich one day.
00:35He got his food by begging for alms.
00:40One morning, he got a pot of milk as part of the alms.
00:46He was extremely delighted and went home with the pot of milk.
00:52He boiled the milk, drank some of it and put the remaining milk in a pot.
00:59He added sliced curds in the pot for converting the milk to curd.
01:06He then lay down to sleep.
01:09Soon, he started imagining about the pot of curd while he lay asleep.
01:15He dreamed that if he could become rich somehow.
01:20All his miseries would be gone.
01:23His thoughts turned to the pot of milk he had set to form curd.
01:29He dreamed on.
01:33By morning, the pot of milk would set.
01:36It would be converted to curd.
01:38I would churn the curd and make butter from it.
01:43I would heat the butter and make ghee out of it.
01:47I will then go to that market and sell that ghee and make some money.
01:53With that money, I will buy a hen.
01:58The hen will lay many eggs which he will hatch and there will be many chickens.
02:06These chickens will in turn lay hundreds of eggs and I will soon have a poultry farm of
02:13my own.
02:15He kept on imagining.
02:18He will sell all the hens of my poultry and buy some cows and open a milk dairy.
02:27All the town people will buy milk from me.
02:30I will be very rich and soon I shall buy jewels.
02:35The king will buy all the jewels from me.
02:38I will be so rich that I will be able to marry an exceptionally beautiful girl from a rich
02:48family.
02:49Soon I will have a handsome son.
02:53If he does any mischief, I will be very angry and teach him a lesson.
02:59I will hit him with a big stick.
03:02During this dream, he involuntarily picked up the stick next to his bed and thinking
03:12that he was beating his son, raised the stick and hit the pot.
03:19The pot of milk broke and he awoke from his daydream.
03:26There is no substitute for hard work.
03:32Dreams cannot be fulfilled without hard work.
03:39Thank you for watching and listen.
