Thousands gather for ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ experience of holy mass with Pope Francis in Papua New Guinea

Pope Francis has celebrated an outdoor mass with more than 35,000 faithfuls in Papua New Guinea’s capital. It is the pontiff’s second full day in PNG, as a part of a regional tour, and the first papal visit to the Pacific’s most popular nation in almost three-decades.
