00:00Let's get into the games today that feature these superstar
00:05rookie quarterbacks that went first and second off the board.
00:09This past April will begin in Chicago with the Bears as now
00:12a three and a half point favorite against the Tennessee
00:15Titans. Some of those fours have popped back up here and you
00:19have a Tennessee team that is hoping Will Levis can be the
00:22guy. A lot of change with Mike Vrabel out the door. Brian
00:25Callahan steps in the offensive coordinator for Cincinnati.
00:29This is going to be an interesting spot here, Joe, to get
00:32the Kayla Williams Chicago Bears tenure underway.
00:35What do you like in this game?
00:36I sort of lean to Will Levis, the second year quarterback
00:39in Tennessee on the road.
00:40And the reason why I say that is the the optimism and the
00:43pressure on Kayla Williams in Chicago to start fast in regards
00:46to this matchup.
00:47Now, I do believe we get over this total today, 42 and a half,
00:5043, but Will Levis showed me something towards the end of
00:53last year, right?
00:54Did lead to come from behind win in Miami as a double-digit
00:58underdog, eight touchdowns, four in interceptions.
01:01He struggled a little bit with consistency, completing 58%
01:05of his passes.
01:05But now you have Tajay Spears.
01:07You have Tony Pollard in regards to a dynamic pass-catching
01:11running back tandem.
01:12I think they can put pressure on Chicago on the road today.
01:15I'm calling for the upset.
01:16Tennessee, Donnie, outright over Chicago.
01:18I gotta tell you, I'm with you.
01:19I don't know, like again, the points out there, the four,
01:22I'll probably lean that way.
01:23But why are we giving Chicago so much hype right out of the
01:25gate? And granted, I understand that you're getting a Heisman
01:27Trophy winning quarterback, a franchise guy that should be
01:29able to operate with three talented wide receivers.
01:31But also, let's take a look at, you might not get to the
01:33starting gate with Keenan Allen today, having that banged
01:35up heel.
01:36You take a look at Montez Sweat, who's your only pass rusher
01:38for me, and what's wrong with him? Banged up coming into
01:41this game.
01:41That defense stinks out loud.
01:43And if we're looking at Tennessee, I always try to weigh
01:45this. Free agency can really help a football team.
01:48They paid a lot of money.
01:49That is going to equate in wins, not playoffs.
01:51So I don't know how well the money was spent.
01:53But for me, I go talent for talent, man for man.
01:55Why can't Tennessee hang around?
01:57Is it just we're looking at this game?
01:58Well, Will Leavis is bad, so I can't take him here.
02:00I disagree.
02:01Look, Calvin Ridley's a wide receiver.
02:03And also, Hopkins was supposed to be out a couple weeks.
02:05He's back today.
02:06Why can't we?
02:07Look, I'm into winning the game.
02:08This feels like most people are saying, there's no way you
02:11can take Tennessee.
02:12And I think Joe and I are saying like, yes, there is.
02:14I think there's, I guess it all depends where you're looking.
02:17I've seen people take Tennessee.
02:18I'm on the other side.
02:19I would be on the Chicago Bears here.
02:21If this got down to a flat three, the Bears are easily on
02:23my card.
02:24I've considered it at four, three and a half year.
02:26He's buying in.
02:27I am buying.
02:28Well, here's the thing.
02:29I definitely have an advantage of quarterback.
02:31I mean, that's a hundred percent.
02:33I mean, that's great.
02:34Come on.
02:34All right.
02:34Come on.
02:34Let's go.
02:35Let's go.
02:35Let's go.
02:36He's got no games under his belt.
02:37Okay, and you have Will Leavis.
02:39But at least Will Leavis.
02:40Will Leavis has played games and not been good in them.
02:43And Caleb stepped up and won a meaningful game in college.
02:46And talk to Will Leavis one, because I remember you trying
02:48to blame me for Kentucky totals.
02:50We're ten and three.
02:51We're ten and three.
02:51I remember the Kentucky totals.
02:53Good point.
02:54Good point.
02:54I'm leaning this way right now.
02:55I mean, I mean, just saying.
02:56Okay, so I definitely have a quarterback advantage, unless
02:59your last name is Levis or Leacy.
03:01The pass catching rooms, the skill position rooms.
03:06Yeah, Calvin Ridley's great.
03:07I think Hopkins is going to be on a pitch count here.
03:09DJ Moore of that group, I would still say, is the best guy.
03:12Roma Dunsday was the top ten pick for a reason.
03:14We don't talk about him in that Rookie of the Year race.
03:16It's going to be really hard for him to win it, you know
03:18what I mean, while Caleb Williams is still there.
03:21The running back rooms, you bring in Tony Pollard paired
03:23with Tajay Spears, Swift, Herbert, but also this comes
03:27down to home field advantage at times.
03:29And this is where, you know, it's a good point to kind of
03:31do this again in the season.
03:32It varies for everybody.
03:33What is home field advantage worth to anybody?
03:35If it's worth nothing, well, then I understand betting
03:37the Tennessee Titans.
03:39If it's worth two points, two and a half, three, I think
03:43the Bears are a better football team than the Tennessee
03:46Titans. Pair them being at home.
03:48I don't think there's anything wrong with this number.
03:49Well, let me ask you this.
03:50If Justin Fields was the quarterback, what would this
03:53number be? Lower because he's been terrible.
03:55But he's had, all right, you believe that.
03:58I disagree, but he's an experienced guy and we're talking
04:02about a rookie making his first career start.
