Victoria No. 203: Diamonds Are Forever is a 2007 Indian Hindi-language heist comedy thriller directed by Anant Mahadevan. The film is a remake of the 1972 classic “Victoria No. 203.” The story revolves around a diamond heist involving some of the world’s rarest and most exquisite diamonds, worth over 3 billion dollars.
The plot follows Bobby Bombata (Javed Jaffrey), an industrialist, and his girlfriend Devyani (Preeti Jhangiani), who plan the theft of these diamonds with the help of Ranjit (Kamal Sadanah), a cold-blooded assassin. However, things take a turn when Tora (Tora Khasgir), an expert dacoit hired for the job, double-crosses them and hides the diamonds in a horse carriage, Victoria No. 203. Raman, the driver of the carriage, is unaware of this and gets wrongfully imprisoned for murder. His daughter, Sara (Soniya Mehra), takes it upon herself to clear his name and find the diamonds.
