29:56Both the operation of addition
29:58and the operation of subtraction
30:00can be best shown by using a number line
30:02A number line's a lot like an elevator
30:04When adding a positive integer
30:06to any other integer
30:08you will be moving up the number line
30:10because moving up the line
30:12is an increase
30:14For 3 plus 6
30:16you will start at the 3rd floor on the elevator
30:18and move up 6 floors
30:20Notice that after moving up 6 floors
30:22you're now at 9
30:24So 3 floors plus 6 more
30:26puts you on the 9th floor

30:30when adding a negative number
30:32to 4, negative 5000, and so on

33:06Start by adding the numbers

37:44there is evidence that the big dino
37:46fed on low-lying plants as well as on tall trees
37:48Its strong back legs
37:50enabled it to rear up to collect
37:52leaves from the tops of the trees
37:54while its shorter front legs
37:56allowed it to reach plants on the ground
37:59Triceratops!

38:04from the late Cretaceous period
38:06was Triceratops
38:08whose name literally means
38:10three-horned face
38:12Triceratops lived in the U.S. and Canada
38:14at the very end of the Cretaceous period
38:16about 65 million years ago
38:18And as the name implies
38:20its massive head had three large horns
38:22In addition, though
38:24Triceratops also had a large
38:26bony neck plate or frill
38:29Scientists are reasonably sure
38:31of the frill's function
38:33Similar to the Stegosaurus
38:35they believe it might have been used
38:37to regulate the animal's body temperature
38:39It's more probable that the frill
38:41was used for protection
38:43a counterbalance for its beak
38:45and courtship displays
38:47Triceratops may have changed
38:49the frill's colors
38:51in a flashy attempt
38:53to attract mates
38:56Triceratops, which was 30 feet long
38:589 feet high
39:00and weighed 5.5 tons
39:02had a toothless, pointed beak
39:04for cutting through tough vegetation
39:06and rows of teeth along its jaws
39:08for chewing food
39:10And those were some pretty powerful jaws
39:12A strong muscle running from the frill
39:14to the lower jaw
39:16would have given Triceratops
39:18some of the strongest jaws of all time
