Footprint Gallery in Jackfield is hosting the Secret Severn art exhibition with many artists represented. MP Shaun Davies was there to take a look.

00:00So we're here at Jackfield and it's the annual Secret 7 Art Exhibition, how you doing guys?
00:05It's going really well, we had a great private view last night, we've got good football today, the sun's out and everything's going well.
00:12And you've got all kinds of VIP guests, that means you Shaun here.

00:18What do you think of what you're seeing Shaun, it's a great standard of art isn't it?
00:21It's beautiful art, local artists but also a fantastic space here in Ironbridge Gorge.
00:27And if you've not been down here recently or at all, I do encourage people to come down, have a look at the fantastic art that we've got right on display from people from right across Telford and Reiki in Shropshire.
00:37And Rod you display your art yourself, how long's the exhibition open for Rod?
00:43It's open until the 15th, Sunday.
00:46And have you totalled up how many pieces of artwork there are here roughly?
00:51Well there's 40 artists, we allow up to 6 pieces so my arithmetic's not that brilliant but times 40 by 6.
01:01And how long's the exhibition been going then, I know it's an annual thing.
01:04This is our 9th year, so each year we've improved and the standard's gone up.
01:09So this has really become the home of the exhibition then.
01:12And it's the kick off for the annual Ironbridge Festival as well.
