Weather Watch for Burnley for Saturday and Sunday, September 7th and 8th

After a week of mixed weather, here's a look at what can we expect as we enter the first weekend of September

00:00Hello everyone, today's weather watch is brought to you from the Centenary Fountain which was presented to Burnley in 1961.

00:10It's sited at the bottom of Centenary Way opposite the bus station and is a riot of colour with some beautiful flowers.

00:19There are also some lovely wildflowers outside the bus station, a wonderful sight to see in our town.

00:25So let's see what the weather has in store for us this weekend.

00:30A murky start to Saturday but plenty of sunshine will develop during the morning.

00:36A small chance of afternoon showers but more sunshine will follow with a maximum temperature of 24 degrees Celsius.

00:44Sunday will be an unsettled day with heavy showers or thunderstorms but Monday looks brighter and fresher but rather breezy.
