00:00Two Chinese nationals were arrested while 18 of their fellow Chinese were arrested for illegal smuggling in the Subic Freeport Zone.

00:13PNP-CIDG investigated an illegal smuggling in the Subic Freeport Zone,

00:18where two Chinese nationals were arrested for human trafficking.

00:2318 Chinese were also rescued from the area.

00:26PNP-CIDG has been on surveillance for two weeks

00:29because of the information provided by the informant that there is a village

00:35where many Chinese are going out and entering.

00:39So upon confirmation that there are really Chinese,

00:43we applied for a search warrant.

00:46Among those who were recovered were computers, cell phones, and phones.

00:50PNP-CIDG was in custody in Camp Kramie with the suspects and those who were rescued.

00:54The suspects will file a complaint against the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act.

00:59It is said that the authorities are continuously searching for information

01:01to crack down on other illegal smugglers in the country.

01:04Since the start of the crackdown, they have splintered into small groups.
