00:03In 1991, the Gallaghers joined a band, Rain, and suggested a different aquatic name, Oasis.
00:07In 94, Definitely Maybe's released and immediately hit number one.
00:10In 95, What's the Story, Morning Glory was released, became one of the UK's best-selling
00:14albums of all time, and the drama was sacked, which was the first time of real disorder.
00:18In 96, Noel had to step in as frontman in Chicago after Liam refused to get a plane.
00:22In 2000, two more albums had been released, two other founding members had left,
00:26and Noel refused to play foreign dates, criticising his brother for being a bit of an idiot.
00:30By 2009, two more albums had been released, and more spats occurred between the brothers,
00:34leading to the band splitting up.
00:35In 2017, Don't Look Back in Anger became an anthem in support of the victims of the
00:38Manchester Arena bombings. Rumours abounded of a reunion, but Liam ended up performing it alone
00:42at a benefit concert, saying that Noel had shown his true colours.
00:44Noel later did a benefit at the newly opened arena for the victims.
00:48In 2024, fans noticed that Noel had slightly changed his tune while talking about his brother
00:52And, bang, just like that, a reunion was announced,
00:55and everyone's weekend was completely ruined by a battle for tickets, which I missed out on.
