00:275. Robin Roberts took on the Hot Ones challenge on live television.
00:32But beforehand, she broke down the decision with Strahan and George Stephanopoulos.
00:38I do like the challenge.
00:39We'll see what happens, she said, before Strahan jumped in with his opinion, saying,
00:45I love the show.
00:46I will do the show. I just wouldn't do it live.
00:50I'm just saying.
00:51Roberts joked, I noticed you wouldn't. So that's why I'm doing it.
00:56After Strahan declared that he wasn't brave enough to do the Hot Ones challenge live,
01:02Roberts followed through with her promise,
01:04facing off with host Sean Evans on the morning show.
01:07Evans noted that Roberts was the first one to do the Hot Ones show live,
01:13while it was also the earliest in the day that it was ever done.
01:17As she tried the different hot chicken wings,
01:19Strahan and her other co-stars cheered her on nearby.
01:24After tasting the hottest wing, Roberts jokingly pointed to the ceiling and said,
01:29I'm coming to see you, mama.
01:31As she recovered from the spice level,
01:33and Strahan's recognisable laugh could be heard in the background.
01:37The Hot Ones YouTube show began in 2015 and has had many big names as guests,
01:44including Ariana Grande, Oroka, Travis Kelce, Hulla Berry and more.
01:50Back in 2018, Strahan actually played a variation of Hot Ones
01:55on Good Morning America in the form of a game called Truth or Dab,
01:59during which you have to either answer tough questions truthfully or eat some spicy wings.
02:05Strahan and Sarah ended up eating the wings to avoid answering uncomfortable questions.
02:11And despite the heat, Strahan managed to smoothly give the spiel
02:16at the end of the segment with ease.
