00:00So, in the likelihood of an overdose, you come and you see the person is unresponsive.
00:07They could be blue, they're not moving, they're breathing shallow.
00:11So it's maybe a good time to maybe call their name.
00:14Paul? Paul? Maybe check for breathing, check for some vital signs.
00:21If there's nothing happening, our message is call an ambulance.
00:27We call the ambulance and then we're able to administer the Nixoid.
00:31So it comes in these boxes. There's two of these in it.
00:34These are dummy ones which I'm going to use on Paul.
00:37So I'm going to get down and I'm just going to put it in his nose and I'm just going to press.
00:43And then I'm going to stand back and wait.
00:48If after two minutes he doesn't respond, there's another Nixoid in here.
00:53So if we can get that out, we can come round and we can put it in his neck as well.
00:59Just try and stand back because what Naloxone can do, it can sharply bring people out of their overdose.
01:05They can be agitated, it's been reported they can become a bit angsty and whatnot.
01:11So it's just about just standing back, just checking they're alright, waiting for that ambulance to come as well.
01:16And that's pretty simple and this is life-saving stuff.
01:20This needs to be in the community. Let's end overdose and raise awareness of it.
