00:10We're celebrating the winners this week, and it's congratulations to a trio who've all been successful.

00:16Katie McElroy, who has just left St Mungo's High, won a top award at last weekend's Young Filmmakers Awards

00:23organised by the British Film Institute.

00:26Another school leaver, Gracie Proudlock, became the 18th winner of the Dennis Canavan Scholarship,

00:32and it's the fifth year in a row that a former Braes High pupil has won.

00:36Meanwhile, Demi hairdresser Linda Miller, owner of Hair 106,

00:41saw her salon named the best in Scotland at the nation's Hair and Beauty Awards.

00:45Just don't ask to see her award until their placement arrives.

00:49Last week's story about the community's concerns over badly sighted traffic lights in Madison saw swift action.

00:56They've now been removed after a nine-year-old schoolgirl was involved in an incident with a car.

01:01In another motoring story, we tell of concerns of speeding and bad parking around the Black Lock,

01:07as the area grows in popularity.

01:10And well done to Demi-Louise Love from Cameron, who held a prize bingo and raised £3,400

01:16to be split between Forth Valley Royal Hospital's Oncology Unit and the Beatson as a thank you for her auntie's care.

01:23And another well done to Denny & Dunny Pacepipe Band,

01:26who are not only grade 3A Scottish champions, but are celebrating their 60th anniversary.

01:33Historian Ian Scott has another fascinating look back at our heritage.

01:37This time, he's telling us all about the Howgate,

01:40but it's not the shopping centre, but the street that was there before.

01:44In sport, we follow the usual round-up,

01:47as well as details of the Falkirk Foundation's Innovative Down Syndrome Football Group,
