00:06blocks in the last six years. BBC London reported that 700 blocks taller than 18 metres have
00:15applied for funding from a number of government schemes. So far, the Greater London Authority,
00:21which manages the schemes on behalf of the government, has made 1,200 separate payments.
00:28Of the 500 buildings currently in the scheme, 58% are now either fully remediated or have work
00:35underway. The GLA says it is still getting applications for funding through the three
00:42schemes it administers – the Building Safety Fund, the Social Sector Cladding Remediation Fund
00:47and the Private Sector Cladding Remediation Fund.
