My review of all the deaths / kill count from Strange Darling. The critically acclaimed indie horror movie.
Transcript
00:00Genevieve comes back downstairs after hearing noise and enters the room after Frederick had
00:09offered the lady some breakfast. However, the lady does not like the fact that Frederick was
00:12trying to die on 911, so she stabs him. Genevieve walks in to see the knife hanging out of his
00:17stomach. The lady pulls the knife out. Frederick falls to the floor dead, hence a little death
00:22over breakfast. The lady trying to escape a demon runs to the hotel office where the clerk locks
00:28the door. The clerk asks Tanya to call the cops. Tanya says she does not want to get involved.
00:32The clerk says you're already involved sweetheart. The lady stabs the clerk in the throat.
00:38The demon goes back to the farmhouse where he finds the lady in her freezer.
00:41He shoots her through the freezer wall wounding her. After she wakes up, she sprays him with
00:45pepper spray or mace of some sort. He stumbles to regain his balance and ends up moving forward
00:50bumping into her where she bites him in the neck. This wound ends up being fatal for the demon and
00:55reminds me of the old adage, go for the jugular. Genevieve, having escaped, sees the police driving
01:04by not realizing the lady is in the back seat. The lady shoots her in the head killing her,
01:07thus leaving her mark. The lady lets one deputy go but keeps the other as a hostage. After seeing
01:19herself in the mirror, she kills him. This made me think of the Eric Clapton song,
01:23I shot the sheriff but I did not kill the deputy.
01:30The lady now with multiple wounds makes her way onto a dirt road where she is picked up by a
01:34passerby. She decides to pull a gun and ends up getting herself fatally shot and putting to test
01:40that old saying, kill or be killed.
