00:00In the quiet streets of Bucharest, the city shows its serene beauty at dawn.
00:05The streets are mostly empty, with only a few early risers beginning their day.
00:09The historic buildings stand tall, bathed in the soft, golden light of the morning sun.
00:14Christy and Hanni meet each other and seem happy to see each other.
00:18Christy thanks a lady for letting him park his car.
00:21She informs her that it's her brother's designated parking spot,
00:24allowing him to park without any issues, since his brother is currently away.
00:28He asks his friend Heidi to join him, and they ride up on an elevator,
00:32where they passionately embrace and kiss each other.
00:35They proceed towards Christy's apartment.
00:37Christy is in the shower. Heidi joins him, and they engage in physical intimacy.
00:42Heidi expresses his desire to go somewhere with Christy,
00:45and Christy playfully imitates Heidi and asks him to speak English.
00:49They both share a laugh.
00:51Heidi then communicates in English and expresses his desire to borrow the car
00:56and take a trip with Christy, possibly to the mountains for a night.
00:59Christy declines, stating that he doesn't believe he can, and exits the room.
01:04Heidi reiterates his request,
01:06and Christy responds that he has already informed him of his inability to go.
01:10Hanni appears visibly displeased with the response he received.
01:14His expression seems to convey a sense of sadness.
01:17Christy, noticing Hanni's somber demeanor,
01:20attempts to offer explanations, attributing the situation to the congested roads
01:24and the absence of highways.
01:26However, this only led to a confrontation between the two.
01:29Heidi bluntly told Christy not to justify himself.
01:32After a while, Christy puts on some clothes
01:35and attempts to start a conversation with Heidi.
01:38Heidi informs him that he can occupy himself
01:40by driving around the city in the car while he is at work.
01:43Christy prepares breakfast and searches for Heidi,
01:46discovering him engaged in prayer.
01:48After observing him for a while, Christy leaves.
01:51In the kitchen, Christy is cooking a dish containing onions.
01:54Heidi discloses that he has forgotten his toothbrush,
01:57implying that Christy may not be able to kiss him.
02:00Christy then offers Heidi his toothbrush.
02:02In bed, Christy tells Heidi that he is spoiled, but it's okay for him.
02:06Christy tells him a story from his childhood
02:09that he and his sister used to go to his grandmother,
02:11who was a good baker, and she used to tell them stories.
02:14One of the stories was about how she ended up in prison.
02:17During their conversation, Heidi is teasing Christy physically.
02:21Heidi asks him about his grandmother's prison story.
02:24He starts telling him the story.
02:26The doorbell rings and there's a lady Katarina at the door.
02:29Heidi and Katarina introduce themselves.
02:32Katrina, Christy's sister, brings something for Christy from their mother.
02:36When Katarina offers food to Heidi, he says,
02:39Bismillah, before eating.
02:41When Katarina asks what it means,
02:43he explains that it means, in the name of God.
02:45Katarina proudly mentions that it is the first sweet she made.
02:49During their conversation, Katarina asks Heidi about his plans
02:53and he tells her that he'll fly next Tuesday.
02:55He is unsure about his plans during the stay.
02:58Christy says that he has to leave in an hour for work.
03:01This makes all of them awkward.
03:03Katarina suggests to Christy that he should take Heidi somewhere these days,
03:07like mountains or somewhere else.
03:09Christy doesn't seem to like the suggestion
03:11and walks away leaving them in the kitchen.
03:13Katarina asks Heidi about Paris.
03:15Christy comes back and Katarina feels that she should leave
03:18because of Christy's behavior.
03:20Heidi tells him that he's not doing the right thing as she is his sister.
03:24She leaves anyway.
03:25Christy follows her and they start arguing.
03:28She informs him that she only wants to support him during this period,
03:31his gay phase.
03:33She departs angrily.
03:34Christy gets a call from his police squad asking him to report for duty.
03:38Christy had to step in to stop a local movie theater's presentation
03:41of an LGBT plus film because a nationalist organization was interfering.
03:46Christy finds this circumstance especially difficult
03:49since it makes him face his own hidden identity
03:51while upholding his professional facade.
03:54There is tension in the theater.
03:56A sense of anger permeates the air
03:58and the demonstrators are aggressive and confrontational.
04:01Despite Christy's and his co-workers' best efforts to maintain control,
04:05the dispute intensifies.
04:07As Christy tries to strike a balance between his responsibilities
04:10as a police officer and his sympathies for the people being targeted,
04:14his inner conflict becomes increasingly apparent.
04:17Demonstrators, many carrying anti-LGBTQ plus signs and banners,
04:21are gathered in large numbers.
04:23The atmosphere is charged with energy and hostility.
04:27Christy arrives at the scene in his police uniform,
04:29tasked with overseeing and managing the protest.
04:32His presence is both authoritative and conflicted.
04:36As he walks through the crowd,
04:37he is met with a mix of cheers from supporters of the protest
04:40and disapproval from those who feel targeted.
04:43The demonstrators engage in various activities including shouting slogans,
04:47chanting and waving flags with anti-LGBTQ plus messages.
04:51The crowd's energy is intense
04:53and the atmosphere is charged with aggression.
04:56As the protest escalates, tensions rise.
04:59Some individuals from the crowd confront each other
05:01and minor scuffles break out.
05:03Christy and his federal officers work to manage the situation
05:06and prevent violence,
05:08but the scene is chaotic and emotionally charged.
05:11Throughout, Christy's internal struggle is evident.
05:14He is visibly uncomfortable and conflicted as he enforces crowd control.
05:19His personal beliefs and emotional turmoil
05:21are in sharp contrast to the hostile environment surrounding him.
05:25Christy interacts with various protesters,
05:27trying to maintain order while dealing with verbal confrontations.
05:31Some protesters challenge his presence
05:33and question his role in the situation,
05:35creating further tension.
05:37Christy's responses are measured but reflect his internal conflict.
05:41The emotional impact of the protest is significant for Christy.
05:44The crowd continues to chant the Romanian national anthem.
05:48Christy is confused and leaves the hall.
05:50A young boy approaches Christy
05:52and inquires about his well-being,
05:54asking if Christy remembers him.
05:56However, Christy seems disinterested in engaging with the boy
05:59and tries to avoid the conversation.
06:02Shortly after, another police officer enters the scene
06:04and questions Christy about why he has left the location.
06:08In response, Christy explains that he found it uncomfortably hot inside.
06:12He offers him a cigarette, but he refuses.
06:14He starts discussing how crazy the people can go.
06:17Christy is confused and asks who to which the man tells him
06:20that he is talking about the people in the cinema hall.
06:23The man says that they are lucky to have Onse, their female friend, around.
06:27At least she makes them look at good things.
06:29While they are discussing their friend,
06:31a boy who met Christy a while ago interrupts them
06:33and asks for a spare cigarette.
06:35A girl comes there and starts arguing with the boy
06:38that she wants to go grab some drink or else she will punch someone.
06:41He tells him to wait for a few minutes.
06:43A police officer comes and tells Christy and his fellow officer to come inside.
06:48They go back to the cinema hall lobby,
06:50where the crowd is still there discussing the matter.
06:52The police are asking for IDs of the people gathered there
06:55and no one is cooperating.
06:57A girl from the crowd is enraged and arguing with another man
07:00about how can he watch filth like this.
07:02The man replies that he has a child at home
07:04and when he grows up he'll let him watch this movie.
07:06Both are arguing and the police are trying to calm them.
07:09The whole crowd is arguing.
07:11Some are against the lept and some are in favor.
07:14Police are trying to control the situation.
07:16The boy who interacted with Christy outside the hall
07:19is arguing with an old lady.
07:21He is in favor of homosexuality.
07:23Christy pushes him towards the wall
07:25and the boy asks him if he is going to keep pretending that he doesn't know him.
07:29Christy walks away without replying.
07:31The crowd continues to argue and fight.
07:34Christy enters the cinema hall and notices the boy has followed him.
07:38He shoves him and inquires about his desires.
07:41The boy informs him that he doesn't anticipate much from him
07:44but requests that he doesn't behave in this manner.
07:47They engage in a heated exchange
07:49and Christy shoves him, instructing him to leave.
07:52It appears that both were romantically involved in the past.
07:55Christy pushes him to the ground
07:57and both hurl verbal abuse at each other.
07:59Another police officer, Alex, comes and stops Christy.
08:02Christy makes up a story and tells Alex that the boy was jerking off in the cinema hall.
08:07So he pushed him outside the hall.
08:09The officer starts yelling at him that he saw him coming into the hall
08:12and that he has to be careful because the boy will call the cops
08:15and things will not be good for Christy.
08:17He tells Christy that he always gets everyone in trouble.
08:20Christy says that he has already told him that Stroyer sent him to follow the boy.
08:24The officer has sensed that Christy is hiding the truth.
08:27Another officer, Moshe, comes and Christy tells him the same story about the boy.
08:32He tells him that he slapped him twice.
08:34He asks the officer to leave or else he'll get started with him.
08:37The officer tells him not to go outside
08:39and to calm himself staying inside or else the boy will see him and start again.
08:43Christy mentioned that he believes the boy has left.
08:46Officer Moshe inquires about the basis of this certainty.
08:49The boy is currently conversing with Stroyer somewhere out there.
08:53While Moshe is asking Christy about the boy,
08:55Alex comes in and tells him that the boy is talking to cops and has blood on his face.
09:00Moshe asks what blood to which Alex replies that Christy has punched his face.
09:05Both Alex and Moshe are worried that Stroyer will find out about the whole incident.
09:09Christy insists on going outside with Alex and Moshe
09:13but they suggest he stay inside and calm himself down otherwise he'll risk his job.
09:17Christy insists on going and he makes sure that he'll not hit the boy but just talk to him.
09:22Moshe makes him understand that he should stay inside and he'll personally talk to Stroyer.
09:26Moshe tells him that he should stay inside and they'll show like he doesn't exist
09:30and tell everybody that the boy fell and broke his nose.
09:33Christy is distressed and peeks through the cinema door
09:36but doesn't see anyone other than the crowd.
09:38A police officer along with a boy comes in the hall
09:41and the boy starts looking for his lost bag in which he claims he has everything even his ID.
09:46He asks Christy if he has seen his bag.
09:48Christy refuses.
09:50The police officer tells the boy to visit the nearest police station
09:53as they have looked everywhere and his bag is not there.
09:56The boy leaves and the officer asks Christy what he thinks he is doing.
10:00His colleagues are trying to clean up his mess.
10:02He tells him that he also has problems in his life but he never lushes out at work.
10:07Christy asks him about the boy and if he is badly injured.
10:10He tells him he has some blood on his face.
10:13Christy asks about Moshe.
10:15The officer yells that he is not the encyclopedia who knows the answer to everything.
10:19Christy asks the officer why he escorted the boy to the cinema hall when he could have come alone.
10:24He asks if he wants to see if I am still in here or left.
10:27Christy is angry and yells at the officer as to why he isn't allowed to go outside and talk to the boy himself.
10:33He will ask him about his problem.
10:35He tells him that Alex and Moshe are not even replying to his texts.
10:39Why is he locked up in here?
10:41He tells him he is going to talk to the boy.
10:43The officer tells him not to create a problem.
10:45He decides not to go.
10:47Christy is in the cinema hall, visibly tense and distracted.
10:51He struggles to keep his composure as the protesters outside the cinema become more vocal.
10:56The demonstration is against the screening of a film with LGBT plus themes
11:00and the tension inside the cinema hall mirrors Christy's internal conflict.
11:05Moshe, sensing Christy's distress, initiates a conversation.
11:09He shares the story of Lola, the stray dog, in a calm and soothing voice.
11:14Moshe intends to provide comfort and a sense of understanding to Christy,
11:18who is grappling with his issues of belonging and identity.
11:21He tells the story of a dog Lola whom he and his wife found and it was covered in some kind of rash.
11:27His wife insisted to take the dog home and feed him.
11:30When the building's door opened, the dog rushed towards the door of the apartment that belonged to a crazy old lady.
11:36The dog must be her pet.
11:38When she came out, she refused to take the dog by saying she got rid of the dog and now they bought him back.
11:43Both Moshe and his wife get sad and his wife insists on taking him home.
11:48They took him home, fed him and he slept on a couch.
11:51The next day, Moshe asked his wife to get rid of the dog as he doesn't want disease in his house.
11:56His wife unwillingly agrees, takes the dog outside and ties him to a tree with a note,
12:01I'm looking for a home.
12:03They also tied his rash shampoo and other stuff with him.
12:06When they came back home, Moshe's wife cried badly for that dog
12:10and they had to go back to him only to see that the dog was not there.
12:13Then back at home, they got a call from a friend of the crazy old lady who told them that the lady told her they had a dog.
12:19They tell her the whole story.
12:21But his wife was shattered because of this whole incident.
12:24He says he hopes she'll get over it.
12:26Christy says the same and thanks Moshe for making him feel relaxed.
12:30Moshe leaves.
12:31After some time, Christy rushes towards the exit door but Stroyer pushes him back and they get into an argument.
12:38When Stroyer leaves, Claudia tells Christy that the boy out there is telling rubbish about the cops that you like boys and you guys were dating.
12:45Later he tells Christy that he has sensed the truth but it will remain between the two of them, he promises.
12:50All the cops members get back into their van and stop at a place to eat something.
12:54To avoid the awkwardness for Christy, they started discussing one of the officer's shoes.
12:59Christy gets a call from Haile and he talks to him hesitantly telling him to eat the stuff her sister brought from the fridge and he'll tell him when he'll get home.
13:06This conversation is crucial as it represents a connection to his true self.
13:11But Christy, aware of his surroundings and the possible consequences, speaks cautiously.
13:16On her way back, Moshe suggests Christy not to react when anything happens.
13:20He should come to him and talk to him.
13:22He says they are lucky to have Amasa who handled the situation.
13:26Christy tells him to pull over the car as he wants to get out.
13:29He stops the car.
13:31Christy walks towards his apartment.
