00:00This is really a computer. You're freaking out right now and I love it.
00:06Welcome to Ms. Mojo, and today we're looking at times guests on Jimmy Kimmel Live
00:11served up fantastic comebacks for the host.
00:14Tell them how we met.
00:15Well we were at uh we saw you.
00:16Don't touch me though.
00:17All right. This is the friendship right there.
00:22Number 10. Sarah Silverman.
00:24Considering her history with the host,
00:26Sarah Silverman always makes her appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live interesting. This one
00:31is no different, as she discusses when she brought marijuana to the Emmys.
00:36This is my pot. Liquid pot.
00:41Kimmel pushes back on whether or not pot makes her funny,
00:44leading Silverman to switch up her statement. It's a quick jab back to the presenter that
00:49earns the comedian a well-deserved round of applause.
00:52I mean pot makes you really funny.
00:55Do you really think that pot makes you funny?
00:57No no pot makes you funny.
01:02All in good fun, the guest glides through the sometimes controversial topic with a
01:07healthy dose of humor. She even adds in a few air high fives to celebrate the moment.
01:12And I have a serious medical condition.
01:15What is your medical condition?
01:16I have a I have a condition that makes me not realize how delicious pop tarts are.
01:23Harrison Ford
01:25In his own particular way, Harrison Ford can be both grouchy and charming in interviews.
01:31He joins Jimmy Kimmel to talk about a variety of subjects,
01:34including his past as a carpenter.
01:37They finished building my recording studio back in 1970.
01:40Thank you, Harrison. May the force be with you. And there you are, baked out of your mind, yes?
01:52I'm not baked out of my mind. I'm working.
01:55When discussing the actor's work on celebrity properties,
01:59Kimmel poses a question that gets a funny answer.
02:02The veteran performer claims he'd charge wealthier clients more for his craftsmanship.
02:07When you were working as a carpenter and building these kind of places here in L.A.,
02:10would you charge more to a celebrity than you would to a regular civilian?
02:15Wouldn't you?
02:16Yes.
02:19With his witty energy, the Hollywood icon shows he can be as entertaining as his film roles.
02:25We just wish a younger version of him could have built something for us, too.
02:29Kimmel also looks happy to have a comedic sparring partner like Ford.
02:33Where the hell did you guys find a dog that plays the harmonica? That is impressive.
02:38Jimmy, we made the dog up.
02:47Number 8. George W. Bush
02:50For this in-depth interview, Jimmy Kimmel throws all kinds of questions at George W. Bush.
02:55This includes one dark and comical detour about Dick Cheney's accuracy.
03:00I think question number one, where I really want to start is,
03:03when your vice president, Dick Cheney, when he shot that guy in the face,
03:09While some politicians might have dodged the topic,
03:12Bush actually shows that he has a sense of humor about it.
03:15His awesome comeback about Cheney firing at an important lawyer only makes it funnier.
03:21What really irritated me about that is he shot the only trial lawyer for me in Texas.
03:26That's right, the guy was a lawyer.
03:28Yeah.
03:28The former president could have easily put this into an awkward situation,
03:33but instead he shows that he's weirdly ready for late night.
03:36Kimmel quickly finds out he's got a much more enjoyable guest than expected.
03:41You know, I wrote these books, which surprised a lot of people.
03:44Yeah, right.
03:45Particularly on the coasts.
03:48You wrote like, what, five books or something?
03:50They didn't think I could read.
03:53Number 7. Bill Hader
03:55Recounting a terrifying plane ride together, Bill Hader and Jimmy Kimmel discuss their
04:00awful travel experience. The guest is clearly shaken up about the event.
04:04And he looked at his gauges and he went,
04:09you need to go put on your seatbelt.
04:12So she comes back, her eyes are like this big, she's like, the pilot just said that we have to-
04:17I'm going, what? Oh, no, no, no, you know? And then the plane went like this, it just went
04:22like that. And the stewardess went, okay, that is not supposed to happen.
04:28Kimmel jumps in to say he looked out for everybody and set them up in a hotel after landing.
04:34As the plane's landing, I'm on my phone, I'm on Yelp finding us a hotel,
04:38I got a car to come pick us up. I was on top of my game.
04:41You were doing that, you were doing that.
04:43Saluting the gesture, Hader also claps back at the host by saying it was a haunted location.
04:48We all want to know even more about the scary Kentucky hotel.
04:52And then we got to the hotel, we get in and it's like, yeah, Yelp, I don't know what,
04:56but it's like, well, your Yelp thing was like, don't go here, it's a haunted hotel.
05:01Even though the host seems proud of himself, he can't defend the spooky spot.
05:06It's a hilarious wrinkle in a story full of big laughs.
05:09I feel guilty already that I'd put you on a defective plane.
05:13Yes, and you said, I want to get your room. And I was like, you should get my room.
05:21Number 6. Ryan Gosling
05:24Due to a fake scheduling issue, the Jimmy Kimmel Live program cuts into a new infomercials time
05:29slot. Hey, Will. Hey, Jimmy. How's it going? What's up? Nothing, just doing the show.
05:38What's up with you? Now?
05:42Yeah, ABC moved us up to 1135, so we're on earlier now. Yeah, right.
05:47Ryan Gosling and Will Ferrell show up to sell various knives that can cut through
05:52all kinds of soft foods. The former blames Kimmel for Ferrell's injury,
05:56but the host isn't having any of it. Gosling then has a hilarious clapback
06:01about the presenter's energy. With his dry delivery,
06:04the performer sticks it to the host in an absurd sketch.
06:07I'm actually sorry. Oh. Oh.
06:14What? You're all right? I believe it's your problem, Jimmy.
06:16It's not my fault. I didn't do this. Your energy did this.
06:21Everyone's performance sets up the joke so perfectly that it reminds you that the actor
06:26can do comedy and drama. It's clean. That's a beautiful cut, though.
06:31Yeah, it's a beautiful cut.
06:35Number five, David Letterman. David Letterman might have left late night shows behind,
06:40but that doesn't mean he's lost any of his comedic charm. The sarcastic comedian receives
06:45a warm welcome on a special Brooklyn episode of Jimmy Kimmel's program.
06:49I'm so excited to be here. It's so good to see famous people again.
06:53Just to be out of the house, ladies and gentlemen.
06:58After being asked about his wardrobe, the guest seizes the moment to get a laugh.
07:02He both rejects the question and finds the humor in having to wear a suit once more.
07:07Is this suit you're wearing from the late show,
07:10or is this something you had to go out and get on your own?
07:13None of your business.
07:16Unafraid to steal the show, Letterman's skills come out here as someone
07:19equally talented on either side of the desk.
07:22He's also one of the few people that's lovable while still being a curmudgeon.
07:26For a year, I have been looking high and low. I am determined to find
07:32a shirt that looks good untucked. I can't find one.
07:38Number four, Rihanna. Jimmy Kimmel often pushes the limit,
07:42but sharing a Twizzler with Rihanna might be a step over the line.
07:46The two eat the candy for autism awareness before challenging others to do the same.
07:57After Kimmel offers up a few options,
07:59his guest throws out the comedian's wife Molly as a possibility.
08:03It seems like a not-so-subtle dig at the presenter's behavior.
08:07With a comedic touch, the pop star takes back the interview with her effortless charm.
08:12Who should his partner be?
08:13Jim Parsons' partner? Maybe also Chewbacca.
08:18Or Molly.
08:20The host almost looks defeated as he hears his spouse's name come out.
08:25For encouraging Rihanna to eat licorice with him, Kimmel might have gotten off easy here.
08:34Number three, Emily Blunt and John Krasinski.
08:37It's fair to say that Jimmy Kimmel loves to prank people now and then.
08:41His battle with Emily Blunt and John Krasinski really ramped up during the holidays,
08:45with the host wrapping up their house like a gift. The couple then returned
08:49the favor multiple times over by taking aim at Kimmel's SUV.
09:03After it's wrapped up twice, Blunt reveals that it's happened yet again with Krasinski
09:08taking the driver's seat.
09:18The diabolical prank has so many layers that it's like the ultimate comeback.
09:23At this point, the comedian watches in horror as his personal items are taken away,
09:28and the office actor crashes the vehicle.
09:39Number two, Sting.
09:41For this sketch, Jimmy Kimmel presides over a panel of good-looking men.
09:45The police singer also shows up to ogle himself before weighing in on whether the host deserves
09:50to be there.
09:59After calling each other names, the musician wins with one subtle change that puts down
10:04the presenter's comedic talents.
10:09The music icon finds a way to sabotage Kimmel's ego in a funny clapback.
10:26It's all played for laughs, but it does seem like most comedians would consider
10:30this too close to home. While he's acted in films before,
10:34this performer makes us want to see him in more sketches.

10:56Number one, Don Rickles.
10:58Don Rickles isn't called Mr. Warmth for nothing. His appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live doesn't
11:04disappoint either, giving the host a comedic wake-up call.
11:09It all kicks off as John Stamos tries to do a little roasting of his own.
11:21When Kimmel infers that Stamos might have learned his bad manners from Rickles,
11:26the elder comic snaps back by telling the comedian to be quiet.
11:30It's one of several moments that stand out from a hilarious interview.
11:39The legendary guest doesn't mince words when he wants to get a point or a joke across.
11:50Did we forget another memorable moment when someone clapped back at the host?
