00:00We've already discussed weapons and modification strategies in another video guide, but weapons
00:10need ammo, and choosing the right type of ammo can make all the difference on the battlefield.
00:15GTI provides operators with 16 different calibers of ammo.
00:20These ammo types correspond to different weapons, and ammo of the same caliber is divided into
00:25different models.
00:27Note that the characteristics of these models vary greatly.
00:31Some ammo models excel at penetrating high-level armor, while others deliver higher damage
00:36to unarmored targets, adapting to different combat scenarios and tactics.
00:43As a GTI operator, you can check detailed ammo characteristics at any time.
00:51During combat, your enemy will usually have some level of armor protection.
00:56Correspondingly, most calibers of ammo come in levels of 0 to 6, a total of 7 levels,
01:03excluding some weapons using level 7 sniper ammo.
01:07Each level of ammo can only directly penetrate armor below its own level, inflicting maximum
01:13damage.
01:14Ammo will not directly penetrate armor of the same level and will only cause partial
01:19damage until the armor is completely broken.
01:22If the armor level is higher than the ammo level, it will not penetrate, which means
01:27you need to deplete the enemy's armor durability first to deal direct damage.
01:33If ammo is your sharp spear, then armor is the sturdy shield.
01:38So how do we calculate the damage caused by each shot?
01:42First, we need to know the weapon's basic flesh and armor damage.
01:47Ammo only provides a ratio shared with the firearms using the ammo.
01:55Let's take the 9x19mm level 3 AP round as an example.
02:00When used against level 2 armor, the ammo damages the armor, penetrates the armor and
02:06deals full flesh damage to the enemy.
02:08When used against level 3 armor, although the ammo also penetrates the armor and damages
02:14the enemy, the damage is reduced due to partial penetration.
02:18When used against level 4 armor, it cannot penetrate and only damages the armor.
02:24When the armor durability is zero, only then can it damage the enemy's health.
02:31But hold up!
02:32This doesn't mean that battles are solely determined by the ammo penetration level and
02:37armor level resulting in uneven fights.
02:40The ballistic vests in Delta Force have specific protection areas.
02:45Armor mainly protects the chest, with some also protecting the shoulders and stomach.
02:49As for helmets, while some head protection is provided, they only leave areas like the
02:54face and ears unprotected.
02:57Even if bullets cannot penetrate directly, they can still disorient the enemy.
03:02So, when facing enemies with high level armor, you might want to consider such ammo as 45
03:09ACP RIP, 9x19mm RIP or others with low armor penetration, but high flesh damage to attack
03:18unprotected limbs, bypassing the armor completely.
03:21Or, you know, just aim for the head, disorient the enemy and hope for the best.
03:27Congratulations!
03:28You are now an expert on the spear and shield mechanics.
03:32In Delta Force, fights can change in the blink of an eye, so choose the most effective ammo
03:38to come out on top.
03:40Good luck out there, Operators!
