00:00It's Thursday night football is here folks just a few days away it is the Baltimore Ravens taking on the Kansas City Chiefs opening night football should be a lot of fun and we'll have a complete coverage of course here on SportsGrid but by the time George and I are here with you next this game will have gone off so George let's take a look at it and take a look at both teams here the Baltimore Ravens of course back where you know that they belong again with Lamar Jackson once again on the road trying to win a big game.
00:29Chiefs have had good success against the Ravens we do know that very bizarre game for the Ravens in the playoffs by the way I would add last year the big wrinkle for the Ravens is Derrick Henry is now the starting running back and you know speaking of Hall of Famers that's one that's actually a future Hall of Famer Derrick Henry didn't play another down he'd be in.
00:45But beyond that Zay Flowers will he take the next step will we see anything from Rashad Bateman I think that's a big name that could potentially go off.
00:55George the guy that I have on my keeper league not that anybody cares is Zay Flowers Zay Flowers was so good for the last year in fantasy down the stretch.
01:05What do you make of the Ravens going into the season and what do you make of this game and what do they need to do to win on Thursday night.
01:12I think the Ravens are a damn good team you can make a pretty good argument they're the best team in the AFC.
01:16So I expect big things from the Ravens I do.
01:19That division is the division from hell.
01:21I think Cincinnati is a good team.
01:23Cleveland could be a good team depending on just showing Watson and Pittsburgh.
01:27Well they always managed to win eight nine.
01:29Yeah I don't know how they do it but they do a really good division if I think Baltimore is the class I think they might be the best team in the AFC.
01:36I think it's a great game Thursday night.
01:38I don't think it's gonna be a high scoring game Craig.
01:40I think it's a game 24 20 21 17 somewhere around there.
01:44So I think we're gonna get a lot of fantasy gold out of this contest.
01:48That being said I mean you're starting Lamar Jackson right you're starting Derek Henry these guys are every week starters you're starting Mark Andrews.
01:54And Zay Flowers is probably an every week starter as well.
01:57He may not be a wide receiver one but I don't see him falling anywhere further than wide receiver three as far as a weekly basis.
02:03You know so I'm probably starting all those guys but I don't expect a million points to be scored.
02:07So if you're looking for that it may be an issue here.
02:10But Kansas City it's the same thing.
02:11Are you starting Mahomes?
02:12Are you starting Pacheco?
02:13Are you starting Kelsey?
02:14You're probably starting Rasheed Rice and that's as far as I'll go.
02:17The top four guys.
02:18But like I said Rasheed Rice brought by one question mark here.
02:21There's a chance you might have better.
02:24You know because Rasheed Rice was a top 50 wide receiver.
02:26You might be able to have three wide receivers better and a flex on your roster than Rasheed Rice.
02:30I can see that.
02:31And like I said I like Rasheed Rice a lot.
02:33And I'm gonna like him a lot this season.
02:35I just don't see mega points being scored Thursday night in Kansas City.
02:38I think it's gonna be a very good game.
02:39Very tight game.
02:40So what we saw last year between Detroit and Kansas City on Thursday night.
02:44Which was a 24-23 was the final or something like that.
02:47I expect a similar score to that.
02:50Yeah I do too.
02:51I think it'll be a good game.
02:52Probably a lower scoring game that people anticipate.
02:55Thursday night football is always that way.
02:57You know I'm interested to see Xavier Worthy.
02:59Remember Hollywood Brown if you missed any of the media reports this week.
03:03Looks like he is out for week one on Thursday night.
03:06So Rasheed Rice, Xavier Worthy, Travis Kelsey among the options for Kansas City in that game.
