हिमाचल प्रदेश और कश्मीर ही नहीं अब लोग शिव की नगरी काशी के सेब का भी स्वाद ले सकेंगे। ये कारनामा कर दिखाया है सेवापुरी विकास खंड के भटपुरवा गांव के रहने वाले राधेश्याम पटेल ने, राधेश्याम ने 45 डिग्री सेल्सियस तापमान में भी हिमाचल प्रदेश और कश्मीर जैसे मीठे सेब का उत्पादन कर दिखाया है। राधेश्याम ने बताया कि 2019 में यूट्यूब पर वीडियो देखकर सेब की खेती करना शुरू किया था। शुरुआत में ट्रायल के तौर पर 50 पेड़ लगाए एक साल बाद जब पेड़ो पर फल आए तब राधेश्याम ने 450 पेड़ लगाकर एक बड़े स्तर पर सेब की खेती शुरू की। एक पेड़ से लगभग 10 किलो फल मिलते हैं जिसे मंडी में 150 रुपये प्रति किलो की दर से बेचते हैं। राधेश्याम के बेटे ध्रुव ने बताया कि जब कॉलेज में सर को पता चला कि सेब की खेती पिता जी करते हैं तो उन्हें यकीन नहीं हुआ फिर जब अपने खेतों से सेब दूसरों को खिलाया तो सबने खुश होकर कहा कि ये तो बनारस के सेब हैं।
