In the early hours of 29th July 2023, Matthew Daulby tragically lost his life in a knife attack. His parents Angela and Gary are now making a heartfelt plea to track someone we still want to speak to in connection with Matthew’s murder.
We need to find 20-year-old Thomas Dures and someone out there will know where he is or have information that can help us find him.
There is a £20,000 reward available for anyone who has information that leads to Dures’ arrest. If you have that information, contact the independent charity @CrimestoppersUK completely anonymously, on 0800 555 111 or via their website here: https://orlo.uk/XEdaF

00:00I quite like that one of him and Tom together when he was little and he loves those pyjamas.
00:04And getting an Xbox. Getting an Xbox, yeah. He just loved playing.
00:08But it's like just as, you know, he's 19 years, he can't quite, he can't quite bear it.
00:14Hi, we're Matthew Dalby's parents. Matthew was tragically taken from us
00:19on the 29th of July, the victim of a knife crime.
00:23To lose Matthew in these circumstances is incomprehensible and something that
00:30we just can't fathom and work out.
00:34We ask ourselves every day why, why did this happen? Matthew left the house
00:39after a normal Friday night evening meal with his girlfriend, excited to go on his holiday
00:45and didn't come home and we still don't know why.
00:49We really need the public's help to try and catch Thomas Charest.
00:56You know, we really do need someone out there to come forward and someone out there will know
01:01where he is because we're just stuck in limbo as a family and we're just a normal family.
01:07We're just normal people. The reward has been increased to £20,000 and that's just for
01:14information that leads to his arrest and as I've said already, I urge someone out there,
01:23please, please help my family to locate Thomas Charest and we can then, you know,
01:33try to adapt to our new life without Matthew.
01:38Please, please help us get justice for Matthew. That's the last thing we can do for him now.
01:43Please contact Crimestoppers if you have that piece of information that can help my family
01:51such as my wife, myself, Matthew's brother. It's the extended family that has gone through
01:58so much pain over the last 12 months while we wait for justice for Matthew.
