One of the last few remaining residents of a derelict estate dubbed 'Britain's Chernobyl" says he won't leave - despite it being earmarked for demolition.

Marshal Craig, 70, still lives in Clune Park, which has been virtually empty for years and looks like something from a post-apocalyptic film.

Built in 1905 it is made up of 430 flats in rotting tenement buildings as well as a rundown church - all covered in graffiti and litter.

00:00Well, my name is Marshall Craig. I'm a young 71 years old. I'm actually staying in the
00:19posh end of Clune Park Estate. It's due for demolition, but to be quite honest with you,
00:27I don't want to move. They'll need to change me to a railing, or a radiator, to be quite
00:32honest with you.
00:42There's about 430, as far as I know, in this estate. The rest of them are, they look pretty
00:51dodgy. You wouldn't put a dog in them, to be quite honest with you. But this block here,
00:57it's actually very good. It's like a castle. The walls are two feet thick. Great view,
01:04good neighbours. I mean, what more is there to say? They certainly could, people could
01:09move back here. It would help solve some of the housing situation. It's sad, but it's
01:18not an impossible situation. It could be done up. I think it's mostly charismatic.
01:24It's your windows, it's your floors, it's your doors. A bit of paint, a wee bit of TLC,
01:33and this place could be great.
01:36We're 30 miles from Glasgow. The bus services are great, the train services are great. I've
01:49even cycled up there. I'm a bit concerned. I do not want to move again. I can't be asked
01:57to move again, to be quite honest with you. Just do the place up. Leave us old days where
02:06we are, and everybody's happy.
