00:51As Democrats scramble to appeal to the American middle class, Harris says she wants to implement
00:58what she calls an opportunity economy plan.
01:02Which include what we're going to do to bring down the cost of everyday goods, what we're
01:06going to do to invest in America's small businesses, what we're going to do to invest in families.
01:12There's the work that we're going to do that is about investing in the American family
01:17around affordable housing, a big issue in our country right now.
01:20Harris faced criticism from Republicans for not holding an in-depth interview sooner.
01:26In it, she aimed for a general consensus, seemingly changing her mind on key issues
01:31such as immigration and climate change.
