00:00The vaccination against African Swine Fever will now roll out in some places in the country.

00:05First to go are the pigs in the ASF Red Zone in Lobo, Batangas,

00:09which was one of the first to declare an outbreak of the virus.

00:13Priorities will also go to Lipa, Calatagan, Rosario, Tuy, and San Juan.

00:19According to the Agriculture Department,

00:2110,000 doses will be the first to be vaccinated from the emergency procurement of the government.

00:26Next week, 150,000 doses of the regular competitive bidding will be distributed.

00:32According to the Bureau of Animal Industry,

00:34more than 450 barangays across the country have active cases of ASF.
