00:00I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan
00:07In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
00:14All praise is due to Allah, Who has sent down the Book to His servant, and has made no crookedness in it
00:27A record, that He may warn of a severe punishment from Him, and give good news to the believers who do righteous deeds, that they will have a good reward
00:50They will remain therein forever. And He will warn those who say, Allah has taken a son
01:02They have no knowledge of it, nor do their fathers. A word has grown large that comes out of their mouths. They say nothing but a lie
01:23So perhaps you will strike yourself on their tracks if they do not believe in this hadith, alas
01:36Indeed, We have made what is on the earth an adornment for it, that We may test them as to which of them is best in deed
01:48And indeed, We have made what is on it a barren pasture
01:58Or do you think that the companions of the cave and the rock were of Our signs in wonder
02:11When the young men turned to the cave and said, Our Lord, give us mercy from Yourself, and make easy for us the right course of our affair
02:31So We struck upon their ears in the cave for a number of years. Then We resurrected them that We might know which of the two parties was better in account of what they had spent
02:52We relate to you their story in truth. Indeed, they were young men who believed in their Lord, and We increased them in guidance
03:07And We struck upon their hearts when they stood up and said, Our Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth. We will not call upon other than Him a god. Indeed, We said, then, in a loud voice
03:34These are a people who have taken gods besides Him. Why do they not come to them with a clear authority? So who is more unjust than he who invents a lie against Allah
03:59And when you have left them and they worship none but Allah, then go to the cave. Your Lord will spread for you from His mercy and make easy for you the right course of your affair
04:24And you will see the sun, when it rises, move away from their cave to the right, and when it sets, you will approach them to the left, and they will be in a gap from it
04:46That is one of the signs of Allah. Whoever Allah guides, he is the guided one, and whoever He leaves astray, you will not find for him a guardian guiding him
05:08And you will think of them as waking up while they are sleeping
05:14And We will turn them to the right and to the left, and their dog will be spread out, its arms in the middle
05:29If you had looked at them, you would have fled from them, and you would have been filled with terror
05:59They will say, your Lord knows best what you have spent, so send one of you with this document to the city, and let him see which is purer in food
06:27So let him see which is purer in food, and let him bring you provision from it, and let him be gentle, and let him not perceive you at all
06:46Indeed, if they appear before you, they will stone you or repeat you in their religion, and you will not succeed, then, ever
07:05And thus have We scattered over them that they may know that the promise of Allah is true and that the Hour is in it no doubt
07:20When they disputed among themselves their affair, they said, Build on them a building
07:31Their Lord knows them best. Those who have won over their affair said, We will take upon them a masjid
07:45They will say, the fourth of the three is their dog, and they will say, the sixth of the five is their dog, a stone in the unseen
08:02And they will say, the seventh and the eighth is their dog. Say, My Lord knows best in their number what only a few know
08:19So do not dispute among them except in plain sight, and do not inquire among them about any of them
08:35And do not say of anything, Indeed, I will do that tomorrow, except that Allah wills. And remember your Lord when you forget, and say, Perhaps my Lord will guide me to a more just way than this
09:03And they stayed in their cave three hundred years and increased nine. Say, Allah knows best what they stayed
09:18To Him is the unseen of the heavens and the earth. See with it and hear. They have no protector other than Him, and He does not associate anyone with Him in His judgment
09:39And recite what has been revealed to you of the Book of your Lord. There is no substitute for His words, and you will not find besides Him a refuge
10:09They want His face, and you do not turn your eye away from them. You want the adornment of this worldly life, and you do not obey one whose heart We have made heedless of Our remembrance, and he has followed his desire, and his affair has been misguided
10:33And say, The truth is from your Lord, so whoever wills, let him believe, and whoever wills, let him disbelieve
10:47Indeed, We have prepared for the wrongdoers a Fire which envelops them, and if they seek to escape, they will be drowned in water like oil, similar to the faces. Wretched is the drink, and evil is the companion
11:17Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds, indeed, We do not waste the reward of one who does a good deed
11:47And they will be dressed in green garments of silk and brocade, reclining therein on couches. Excellent is the reward, and good is the reward in abundance
12:17And set forth for them the parable of two men. We made for one of them two gardens of grapevines, and We surrounded them with date-palms, and We made between them a field
12:38Each of the two gardens gave its fruits, and you did not wrong anything of it, and We made between them a river
13:08And he entered his garden while he was wronging himself. He said, I do not think that this will ever perish
13:25And I do not think that the Hour will ever be established, but if I return to my Lord, I will surely find better than it in return
13:41His companion said to him while he was speaking to him, Do you disbelieve in the One who created you from dust, then from a sperm, then made you into a man
14:06But He is Allah, my Lord, and I associate no one with my Lord
14:18And why did you not, when you entered your garden, say, Allah willed, there is no power except with Allah
14:31If you see that I am less than you in wealth and children, then it is possible that my Lord will give me better than your garden
14:46And He will send upon it two mountains from the sky, and it will become a high mountain, or its water will become deep, and you will not be able to ask for it
15:10And he was surrounded by his fruit, and he began to turn his hands over what he had spent on it, and it was standing on its tops
15:29And he said, Oh, I wish I had not associated with my Lord anyone, and there would not have been for him a party to help him other than Allah
15:57And he was victorious
16:01There is loyalty to Allah, the truth, and it is better in reward and better in punishment
16:12And set forth for them the example of the life of this world, as if We had sent it down from the sky, and the plant of the earth mixed with it, and it became a grass that the winds blow
16:38And Allah is able to do everything
16:45Wealth and children are the adornment of the life of this world, and the good things that remain are better with your Lord in reward and better in hope
17:02And the Day We will move the mountains, and you will see the earth exposed, and We will gather them together, and We will not leave any of them
17:16And they will be presented before your Lord in rows, saying, You have come to Us as We created you the first time, but you claimed that We would not make for you an appointment
17:35And the Book will be placed, and you will see the criminals afraid of what is in it, and they will say, O our woe! What is this Book?
17:53What is this Book? It does not leave a small or a large one except that it counts it, and they will find that which they did is present, and your Lord does not wrong anyone
18:14And when We said to the angels, prostrate to Adam, they prostrated except Iblis
18:27He was of the jinn, so he disobeyed the command of his Lord. Do you take him and his offspring as allies instead of Me, while they are your enemies?
18:44Evil is the place for the wrongdoers
18:49I did not make them witness the creation of the heavens and the earth, nor the creation of their souls, and I did not take the misguided as My servants
19:05And the Day will come when they will say, Call the partners of Mine whom you claimed, and they will call them, but they will not respond to them, and We will place a barrier between them
19:24And the criminals will see the Fire, and they will think that they are about to fall into it, and they will not find any escape from it
19:38And We have expounded in this Qur'an for the people every example, and man is most of all a disputant
19:53And what prevented the people from believing when guidance came to them and they asked forgiveness of their Lord, except that the way of the ancients should come to them
20:21Or that the punishment should come to them in an acceptable way, and We do not send messengers except as bearers of good news and warners
20:36And those who disbelieve dispute falsehood that they may refute the truth with it, and they take My signs, and I am not warned of mockery
20:55And who is more unjust than one who is reminded of the signs of his Lord, but turns away from them and forgets what his hands have sent forth
21:11Indeed, We have placed a barrier over their hearts that they may understand it, and in their ears is deafness
21:24And if you invite them to guidance, they will not be guided, then, ever. And your Lord is Forgiving, Possessor of Mercy
21:38If He had seized them for what they had earned, He would have hastened for them the punishment
21:47Rather, they have an appointment that they will not find other than it. And those cities We destroyed because they were unjust, and We made an appointment for their destruction
22:12And when Moses said to his daughter, I will not leave until I reach the junction of the two seas or pass a period
22:32So when they reached the junction between the two, they forgot their fish, so he took his way in the sea, fleeing
22:47So when they passed, he said to his daughter, give us our lunch, we have met from our journey this person
23:02He said, did you see when we turned to the rock, I forgot the fish
23:12And I did not forget it except the devil, or I remember it. And he took his way in the sea, wondering
23:25He said, that is what we were seeking. So they returned to their footprints, narrating
23:36So they found a servant of Our servants. We gave him mercy from Ourself, and We taught him from Ourself knowledge
23:55Moses said to him, should I follow you to teach me from what you have been taught? He said, you will not be able with me to be patient
24:13And how can you be patient on that which you have no knowledge of? He said, you will find me, if Allah wills, patient and I will not disobey you
24:31He said, if you follow me, do not ask me for anything until I give you from it a reminder. So they set off
24:46Until when they boarded the ship, he broke it. He said, did you break it to drown its people? You have done a terrible thing
25:02He said, did I not say that you will not be able with me to be patient
25:10He said, do not hold me to account for what I have forgotten, and do not hinder me from my affair. So they set off
25:23Until when they met a boy, he killed him. He said, did you kill a pure soul without a soul? You have done a terrible thing
25:43He said, did I not say that you will not be able with me to be patient
25:52He said, if I ask you for anything after this, do not accompany me. You have reached from me an excuse
26:07So they set off. Until when they came to the people of a town, they asked its people for food, but they refused to host them
26:25So they found in it a wall that wanted to collapse, so he erected it. He said, if you wanted, you would have taken a reward for it
26:40He said, this is the separation between me and you. I will inform you of the interpretation of what you did not ask for patiently
26:53As for the ship, it belonged to the poor who worked in the sea, so I wanted to return it, and there was behind them a king who seized every ship by force
27:21And as for the boy, his parents were believers, so we feared that he would cover them with transgression and disbelief
27:40So we wanted to replace them with their Lord, better than him in purity and closer to mercy
28:04A treasure for them, and their father was righteous, so your Lord wanted to reach their strength and extract their treasure
28:24A mercy from your Lord, and I did not do it by my command. That is the interpretation of what you did not ask for patiently
28:39And they ask you about Bilqarnayn. Say, I will bring to you from him a reminder
28:51Indeed, We established for him in the land, and We gave him of everything a means, so he followed a means
29:06Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it setting in a boiling spring, and he found with it a people
29:22We said, O Dhul-Qarnayn, either you will be punished, or you will take in them good
29:36He said, as for the wrongdoer, we will punish him, then he will be returned to his Lord, and He will punish him with an unbearable punishment
29:55And as for he who believes and does good, for him is a reward for good, and We will say to him, from Our command, easily
30:11Then he followed a means, until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it rising on a people whom We had not made a cover for them
30:35Thus it was, and We surrounded him with what he had as information, then he followed a means, until, when he reached between the two mountains, he found besides them a people whom they could hardly understand
31:04They said, O Dhul-Qarnayn, indeed, Ya'juj and Ma'juj are corrupting in the land, so shall we make for you a way out, so that you may put between us and them a barrier
31:32He said, that in which my Lord has established me is better, so help me with strength that I may put between you and them a barrier
31:49They gave me pieces of iron, until, when they were equal between the two sides, he said, Blow, until, when he made it a fire, he said, Give me, I will pour over it a drop
32:16But they could not make it appear, nor could they make a cover for it
32:24He said, This is a mercy from my Lord, so when the promise of my Lord comes, He will make it dark, and the promise of my Lord is ever true
32:41And We left some of them that Day to waver among themselves, and the Horn was blown, and We gathered them together
32:55And We presented Hell, that Day, to the disbelievers as a display
33:03Those whose eyes were covered from My remembrance, and they could not hear
33:22Did those who disbelieved think that they would take My servants as allies besides Me
33:35Indeed, We have prepared Hell for the disbelievers as a descent
33:43Say, Shall We inform you of the losers in deeds
33:51Those whose effort has gone astray in the life of this world while they think that they are doing a good deed
34:03Those are the ones who disbelieved in the signs of their Lord and meeting Him, and their deeds were in vain, so We will not establish for them, on the Day of Resurrection, any weight
34:24That is their recompense, Hell, because they disbelieved and took My signs and My messengers as a mockery
34:38Indeed, those who believed and did righteous deeds, for them will be the Gardens of Paradise as a descent
34:50Abiding therein, they will not desire from it any change
34:56Say, If the sea were a cushion for the words of my Lord, the sea would surely overflow before the words of my Lord would overflow, even if We came with the like of it as a support
35:20Say, I am only a human being like you. It is revealed to me that your God is only one God
35:38So whoever hopes to meet his Lord, let him do a righteous deed, and associate no one with the worship of his Lord
