00:00We're at the 2024 Cotton Conference today celebrating our 75th year of harvesting innovation.
00:10I've got the brand new model year 25 CP770 cotton picker behind me.
00:15We have new row units on this picker, the MP16 row unit, which is offering the next
00:19level of picking productivity.
00:22Also great to have a number of customers coming on the stand telling us what they're looking
00:26forward to, what they're looking forward to in the future, particularly with technology.
00:30We've got our exact shot row unit on the stand here, which is really helping to deliver fertilizer
00:35to the plant on the seed in a dosing system so that we're getting a reduction of fertilizer.
00:40That means a reduction in cost for growers as well as, you know, sustainability outcomes
00:44longer term.
00:45For one thing, with the global responsibility, we try to come to, myself and several of us
00:50in the cotton harvesting team, we try to come to a lot of these events globally, but I would
00:55say this one is always the most impressive event, I hate to say it, globally, even more
01:00so than any other, any other market that we go into because it's really so much on the
01:05cutting edge when we come to this, this, this event.
01:08And also what I love about this event is no matter who I talk to at this event, I know
01:12that they have a touch point in the industry.
01:14So we get a lot of touch points with the producers, other people in the industry love this event
01:19as far as, as far as getting to know the customers better here in Australia.
01:24Also the fact, understanding what's coming and what their expectations are.
01:28Australian cotton growers are some of the most advanced in the world.
01:31We know they're looking for new technologies to make sure they're more productive and we've
01:35got a lot of new technologies along the whole cotton production system, whether it be seeding,
01:41spraying, picking, and so, you know, they're focused on helping make farmers more profitable
01:46but also more sustainable with some of these new technologies.
01:50So I think that's really exciting for the industry.
