00:00First of all, I would like to take your initial point of view on the bill that is being brought on the day of the private members.
00:06Then the second bill is also related to this judiciary.
00:10What is the purpose? Why is the government not owning it?
00:13Why are they not bringing the bill directly?
00:15That through the private members, although they are from the Arkan Noon League, this is being done.
00:19What is the reason for this?
00:22In the name of God, the most merciful.
00:24First of all, I apologize that I was late in coming to you.
00:27The state of the roads in Islamabad is not in front of you.
00:30But as far as the judicial package is concerned, it is coming through the private member bills
00:38because the government also knows that this is a direct action.
00:42For example, the two steps they are taking.
00:45The first is to increase the strength of the input bank.
00:50Tell me that the existing strength of Satara is not yet complete.
00:56You have not completed those judges.
00:58And if you also take this premise that you have to make dispensation and justice easier
01:06and there are 200,000 cases pending in the country,
01:09then first of all you will have to increase the resources and judges in the lower courts.
01:14After that, you will have to increase it in the High Court and eventually in the Supreme Court.
01:18You want to increase the bench in the Supreme Court only because you want the benches to be of your choice.
01:24You want that the judges who have stood up, who have stood up on moral authority,
01:30should be taken to the minority, judges of their choice should be appointed and decisions of their choice should be taken.
01:36What is their second step?
01:38We have already talked about this.
01:42In your absence, we have basically talked about this and my advice was also that you start the process of purification
01:48and if you want to do it resourcefully, there are 220,000 cases.
01:5280% cases are in the lower judiciary, so you start the process from the bottom.
01:55They said that it is the same from the top and bottom.
01:58The point is that you want to get the judges of the Supreme Court to make the benches of their choice.
02:03My point of view in this is, what I want to ask is that the judges are unbiased.
02:08Conventional wisdom says this, their decisions speak.
02:12Why are you looking at it from the point of view of doubt if the number of judges has increased?
02:16Sir, I would like to complete my point first.
02:19First of all, we are not looking at it from the point of view of doubt and it is not conventional wisdom,
02:25it is your very innocent wisdom.
02:26In the country where the judges themselves are writing letters saying that pressure is being put on us,
02:31decisions are being taken against our will, your conventional wisdom goes out the window.
02:37The second step is to take back the power of the content of court from the judges.
02:44The point is that the judges do not have an army, the judges do not have weapons.
02:50The judge establishes his rank through this content.
02:54When you take this power from the judge that he cannot hold anybody to account,
02:59then who is going to accept his decisions?
03:00The situation is that the judges' decisions are not being accepted here despite the content of the proceedings.
03:06When you take this from them, then you will defame them, you will make them meaningless.
03:11So again, this is the same thing, they are trying to take their own decisions and this is not a serious legislation.
03:19That is why the government does not want to own this, that is why it wants to bring it through private members.
03:24The second thing that is very important in this, suppose you are bringing it through private members,
03:29it should go through a proper process.
03:31These bills should go to the committees, these bills should be ratified by the committees,
03:37there should be a debate on them, then they should come to the floor of the house.
03:40You are not bringing them to the committees because they are laughable.
03:43They will fly away in the committees, no one will support them.
03:50Okay, so tell me, this issue, Shizra Sahiba, the government is ready to incline towards Maulana Sahib.
04:00Maulana Sahib has put the conditions of the Senate sessions in front of Tehreek-e-Insaab.
04:05What do you have that will incline towards you,
04:08that they will become a part of the government, despite looking at the track record?
04:11Look, Maulana Sahib is a very experienced politician.
04:15His experience or how much he knows about politics,
04:19I think it would be a shame to even talk about it.
04:23He will look at everything and see, he will think, what kind of a Jamaat is it,
04:28which is going towards improvement for Pakistan,
04:32what kind of a thought is it, which is trying for the betterment of the people,
04:37and not that kind of a Jamaat, which revolves around only one person,
04:41and they just want that their leader, the cult, which I call it, is not a political Jamaat,
04:47that it should somehow be brought to power.
04:51So, I think Maulana will keep all these things in mind.
04:54Since our government came, we said on the very first day that we will keep the state ahead of our politics.
05:02We are having to make strict decisions, we have been doing it before, and we are still doing it.
05:06And we have to pay a political price for it.
05:09But despite that, we think that politics will only happen when Pakistan is there,
05:15when Pakistan's economy is better, when Pakistan is stable.
05:19Whereas, if you look at it, this is a Jamaat that is always ahead in destabilizing,
05:24spreading instability, spreading instability.
05:28Have they ever come out for the people?
05:31Have they ever held a meeting on how to improve the people?
05:36Even when they come to Parliament, they never talk about the people.
05:40But the problem is, Shazra Sahiba, that practically speaking,
05:44practically speaking, no one comes out for the people.
05:47You see, there are taxes on the people, inflation, poverty, everything, who is going to ask?
05:52If you impose taxes on someone here, the next day they protest, the government comes back on its feet.
05:57So, this is a different matter.
05:58Zain Sahib, please tell us, the love-hate relationship between Maulana Sahib and Tehreek-e-Insaf,
06:07hate is a very strong word, but you can also call it dislike.
06:10How far have the matters reached now?
06:12Is Maulana Sahib on your side at the moment? What is his status?
06:18Sir, you have pointed out correctly that traditionally,
06:22Maulana and Tehreek-e-Insaf are not seen in the same camp.
06:27Even now, in the movement of Tehreek-e-Tahruk-e-Ain,
06:31everyone had a common goal or agenda of stealing the mandate.
06:37Maulana was talking about it, we were also talking about it,
06:39and we believed that if we talk about it together, it will have a greater impact.
06:45And that is why we proposed to Maulana to come with us.
06:49Look, Maulana has his own politics.
06:51As my sister just said, he is a senior politician.
06:55Maybe he understands politics much better than me.
06:58Eventually, he has to make his own decision.
07:01And traditionally, if you don't mind my saying,
07:04he has to decide where he sees the most benefit.
07:07But we stand where we stand.
07:09We have a fundamental position, we are standing on that position.
07:12We are inviting Maulana.
07:13If Maulana comes to this platform and joins us in our voice,
07:18it will certainly benefit the country, the democracy, and Maulana Sahib.
07:22No, so the matter is that in the past,
07:26the Kashmir Committee and the Ministry of Health used to discuss many things.
07:32Now the matter of the Senate seats has come,
07:34we were thinking what will be discussed, what demand will come forward.
07:39So what is your point of view on that?
07:41Will you express some consent on that, your Jama'at?
07:46As far as I know, Maulana has made a proposal,
07:50and he has also made two Senate seats.
07:53Our party has to think about that.
07:55And God willing, I think we will talk to Chairman Rehman Khan
07:59and give him our consent on that.
08:05Okay.
08:06Mr. Shahzad, look, here, on the basis of some low and some high,
08:10political loyalty and political unity is moving forward.
08:14So then, what do you have to offer?
08:18Obviously, these things will be under consideration.
08:21They have a lot more to offer than we do.
