00:00Well, you want a positive result all the time. We don't deliberately make bad news. It's
00:07come our way from a couple of performances that have not been strong enough. So now it's
00:11correcting that and correcting the way that we're playing to go and win, of course. The
00:16noise around here has been around for a long time. We've been working very hard to change
00:21the narrative and the feel and it's difficult. And if you don't win games, that of course
00:25adds to it. So it's our responsibility and my responsibility as manager to make sure
00:29we do turn the corner and change and get results, along with performances. There was
00:33a good sign the other night, albeit with all due respect, I said afterwards to Don Custer,
00:38we should take care of business in that game on paper. We know it's not that easy. They
00:42pushed us really close last season at their place and I thought we gave a very strong
00:47second half and I reminded the players of the freedom that comes when you're playing
00:50like that, to go and play and the funds go with you. And I said, but we have to be the
00:54start point. The funds have been there forever and they will be. So we have to start that
00:57process when they get behind the team and can smell a good performance and they can
01:01feel a good performance. And I think second half we did that and now we've got to do it,
01:05like I said, with all due respect to Don Custer, in the Premier League, against Premier League
01:07outfit.
01:08Is it difficult to get the players to play with the freedom that you want when the pressure
01:12is on?
01:13Yes, of course, but the players here, another thing we've spoken as a group about, they've
01:16had some incredibly pressurised situations here in the last two years and before I was
01:21here. I've been here, what, 20 months? Even before that. I mean, they've had some incredibly
01:27tough times and I couldn't be more proud of these players. They've been incredible at
01:30what they've given and now we've got to give more. That's just the demand of a footballer
01:33and that should be the demand, by the way. You know, whenever you think you've given
01:35enough, you haven't. There's always another step, there's always another game, there's
01:39always another performance that needs taking care of. That's what we've got to do, go and
01:42take care of ourselves.
