00:16Travelers love flocking to Siem Reap and there are many reasons why.

00:23Of course, there's the popular Angkor Wat temple complex, but there are many more to

00:28discover aside from that.

00:31Just brave enough to explore more of the area to discover what a gem Siem Reap in Cambodia

00:39The city boasts of a colonial and Chinese-style architecture in the Old French Quarter and

00:45around the Old Market.

00:48Here, there are the museums, traditional Apsara dance performances, a Cambodian cultural village,

00:56souvenir and handicraft shops, silk farms, rice paddies in the countryside, fishing villages,

01:03and a bird sanctuary near the Tonle Sap Lake.

01:09It's definitely become one of the popular tourist destinations today with its large

01:14number of hotels, resorts, restaurants, and businesses specially made for tourism.

01:24But really, most frequent the city for its Angkor temples which are undoubtedly the most

01:30popular tourist attraction in Cambodia.

01:35Temple hopping is certainly a must-do here.

01:39It's recommended that you begin with Angkor Wat in the sunrise, land a spot in either

01:44just outside of the temple or inside right by the famous lake so that you can snap that

01:51iconic reflection photo.

01:54And then of course, you should stop by the floating village.

01:58Those that want to marvel at the fishermen's way of life will want to visit Tonle Sap Lake.

02:04This, in fact, is Southeast Asia's largest freshwater lake and the place to be to witness

02:14Wooden houses are built on long, sturdy stilts to avoid possible floods, thus making it an

02:20area perfect for fishing.

02:25Last but not least is the Night Market.

02:28It's a place you must visit because Siem Reap's nightlife, in fact, doesn't happen at the

02:36The Angkor Wat Night Market will dazzle you with Khmer artwork, local handicrafts, and

02:42sumptuous street food.

02:48It's just a two-minute walk from the famous pub street, so you can definitely make the

02:52most out of your time in the evening.
