Pemerintah akan membatasi pembelian Bahan Bakar Minyak (BBM) bersubsidi jenis Pertalite dan Biosolar mulai 1 Oktober 2024.  Menteri Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia membenarkan adanya rencana tersebut menjelang pelantikan Presiden dan Wakil Presiden Terpilih Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
