00:00Today's handover ceremony symbolizes more than a transfer of vaccines, it exemplifies
00:16the power of international cooperation in addressing global health challenges and local
00:23health challenges.
00:25We are immensely grateful to the government and good people of the United States for this
00:29gesture of brotherhood.
00:30We are aware that this vaccine is not exactly in surplus supply, I believe we're getting
00:3610,000 of the about 200,000.
00:39Nigeria's been such a good partner in the health field and as I mentioned, Nigeria government
00:45has put together a vaccination plan.
00:48So there's a plan how to use these vaccines effectively, how to make sure we get the most
00:53effect out of this 10,000 vaccine donation.
00:56So that's very much why Nigeria was chosen to receive this first badge.
01:00We will continue to work with Nigeria on efforts to stop the spread of the monkeypox illness
01:07and we will continue to look at how we can help Nigeria.
